Aaaargh dissertations. I hated mine. I read a bit of it now and then and think 'seriously, I did not write that and could not have found any of that stuff interesting'. The best thing about it was handing it in and knowing that I never had to deal with it ever again. Until a tutor passed it on to someone who asked me to revise it for them to use. Bummed.
Well, I finally have stable net access so I've decided to start posting here properly and try and help a few people out. Have also revised my SOA for the first time in months and realised that thanks to the new job I start on Monday me and Mr Charming should be debt free by Feb '08, barring minor disasters, so I am quite happy today!0 -

I can sympathise. I had a tutor like that when i was at uni. Happily told us to assume the reader knew nothing. So explained loads of background in an eassy only for him to turn around and say that I needed to assume the reader knew this and scrapped my whole first page!!!

All these dissertations sound a lot more interesting than mine, 'a study of the the effects of globalisation on the steel industry and the new challenges faced by western european labour organisations'
tutor constantly demanded to know 'what do you mean by globalisation'?
Housework sucks. I hear that cholera is easy to cure now anyway, so why bother?0 -
So what did you mean by globalisation?
And I am sure it was very interesting... In it's own way.Current debt - £16,300
