Swimming done, grandbeasts have just left.. I haven't even fed these yet and I just want to go to bed.. beans on toast with fried eggs? Is that too lazy??
I did make these and grandbeasts tidy away all the toys they got out upstairs before they left though.. no way I was doing that too!!
I loaded the DW with pans earlier as they make most difference on the worksurfaces.. but we have no plates for dinner so I need to redo that too..

((Hugs)) Narco, that's really sad.
Squishy ((Hugs)) to you as well ATB, and lots of healing vibes to your friend.
Today's flying has consisted entirely of producing 2 bags for a charity collection, 1 bag for me to drop at a charity shop next week, another bag hopefully for my sister to take with her when she visits tomorrow, and another smaller one for a friends DGD. Result! This was all out of the November Challenge wardrobe in the Spare Oom. Narnia has nothing on that cupboard.
The rest of the afternoon has been spent waiting at the stables for DD, as I didn't feel like driving the 30 mile round trip twice. I wish I had now, as it was cold in the car, and dark by the time we left. And I didn't even make a start on thinking about the dreaded Christmas list, which would have been more practical use of my time. Job for tonight, along with meal planning as I don't think we've eaten particularly well all week.
Have relaxing evenings all. X0 -
High protein, Piggers - can't see anything wrong with it; I'd add some toast too.
Himself has finally been brought home. Sounds like he had been nursing a bit of a bug (not entirely surprising with the time of year and his attitude towards kitchen hygiene and food safety  there's a reason why I get so stubborn where stuff left out is concerned) and when he started feeling sick and hot, he panicked, thinking it was anxiety. So they ended up with him simultaneously being ill, panicking about not being ill but panicking, which also made him ill. And panicking about not being able to get home and panicking about not being able to get in touch with me to let me know he wasn't going to be able to get home. :wall:
He had to sit on his amp to play in case his legs gave out and then they dumped him in the van with a bucket as they packed everything up, before looking after him again.
I wandered off to the shop before he was brought back and came back with a big tub of superfresh ginger root and some lemons, so the large cafetiere has been put into use to make a big pot of ginger and lemon tea along with a couple of herbal G&L teabags and some comb honey.
I've stuffed my face on a big lump of baguette with cheese today, after bleaching the countertops and sink. Unfortunately, the hot water was on the blink, so the week's washing up is still sitting in a neat pile on the hob until everybody else stops using water so the pressure comes back up again and the boiler will work. Now sitting here with the Idiot Cat chewing on my hand, as he's a complete muppet where the smell of bleach is concerned.
Another washload done, downstairs bathroom sprayed and wiped over, downstairs all swept through, my kitchen table has been rescued from under the heap of gibble he'd put there, all his mic leads, stand and kettleleads have been coiled and put away, #1 acoustic has been put back in its case, mandolin on its hook, coats gathered up and put in their home, sofa recovered with clean blankets and I'm done for the evening.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Healing vibes for your friend, atb.
No flying here, apart from washing up the mug in my room0 -
Ginger, lemon and honey tea is going down a storm. It's also very nice cold, like a mildly spicy lemonade.
It's occurred to me that some of the reasons I might not catch things that go round the school are that
1. I don't take sugar or milk and shake instant coffee into my own mug. That means I don't have contact with anything food related that other people might have touched.
2. When I touch computer or music keyboards, although they are undoubtedly dirty, it's in the context of fixing something, so I have to wash my hands afterwards to get the dust, grease or sticky tape off them.
3. I have nothing to do with the school catering or the junk they dish out for parents' evenings.
4. (Possibly the most important) Whenever I go through a door, I'm carrying equipment, tools, bulk printing, something else, or all four. That means I open doors with my elbows and reverse in, rather than use my hands. At home, it's all open plan or the doors are left open to allow for freedom of cat movement and daylight.
I think I might try wiping down the keyboards at work on Monday.

DW emptied and refilled
OH's work trousers hung up to dry..
Todays fun times include getting loads of dead garden stuff sent to the tip.. a greenhouse, 8 chairs, some toys and lots of random gibble.. then we can get in the middle shed to empty it.. I am very much looking forward to that! OH is still languishing in bed so it won't be done any timesoon though.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
