Morning.
Bad night with horrid dreams. Utterly exhausted and feel like I've been kicked all over. (DH swears it wasn't him). Need to sleep. Need to sl....zzzzzz.
No! Get up and get going woman!
Four new pairs of legs bought yesterday as I am now so porky that my others no longer fit. No doubt DH will ask if I have sprayed them on
Sparkie just arrived for another day doing 'lectrickery and DH is out there dealing, so snuggled back in bed while the boys watch cartoons. Did I mention I am tired?0 -
Morning all
There's a kitten meowing at me so AFTER MY SHOWER I must go and source noms.
Then I had better get cleaning. House is DIGUSTInG.
Mind you I disguised the pile of carp in the DR by mixing it with the carp from under the stairs and the kitchen, which I had moved to aid the boiler fit. V. Morning all,
Some sad news last night - a dear friend of ours was in a cycling accident and is in HDU with critical head injuries. He's my age (32). Healing vibes please ladies.
We are taking the kiddies out for the day, we have been at home the last few weekends and they just wreck the house, so we are taking them out for fresh air and ice creams to a local farm. We will wrap up warm and take some snacks too.
May stick a wash on, may not. Looking forward to SCD, lamb and cauli cheese later.
Biggest of hugs all round xMFW

Can't say I understand a word of your information Jojo, but I love listening to people who can combine their passion and wondeful communcication skills.
*Healing vibes* for your friend, ATB.
Minutes done and gone, hurrah! Kong not found, boo. I rather suspect Kelpie took it with him on a trundle unnoticed by one of us, because I simply can't think of anywhere else to look. Searching for things is my least favourite occupation because it's such a hugely unproductive waste of time, so I'm frustrated by that.
We had a phone call from the vet about Devil Cat, who had sought specialist advice from the eye expert vet. Apparently she's amazed he's kept going this long, so we're all feeling a bit better and there has been a lot of cuddling and feeding of favourite foods. He's bearing up, still enjoying life and we're counting our blessings every moment we have with him. Thank you everyone for your warm wishes.
We've got to go our today to a couple of things which will hinder the amount of time I can spend dusting. What a shame.Better is good enough.0 -

I feel your pain:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Lovely that you're getting 'bonus' time with Devil Cat.
Noms sourced, both cats starving:rotfl:now fed.
Breakfast eaten.
Being all clean and primped and polished is my favourite way to start the day. I am full of enthusiasm; let's hope it lasts.
First job, now I too am fed, is to rabbit proof the garden then let Benny out for a run.
Then a list.
What a pleasure to be able to run a tap and get hot water. Pots soaking in the sink and I haven't had to boil the kettle three times:T:T
And it's sunny and I have washing to peg out.

and a keyboard with a very very good set of headphones??
Again, with something to ensure she can't turn them up too loud.
Having gone to gigs since I was 13, in the days when tinnitus was a badge of honour rather than a sign of something wrong, the cumulative effect of volume can't be ignored.

Today's achievements (if you can call them that)- Doglet fed and walked in the wet - walkies that is, she ate in the kitchen.
- Bed changed (by Mr LW)
- Bedlinen washed
- Recycling (large pile of it) removed to the shed
- Today's emails - 16 of the blighters - dealt with. (Mostly online surveys).

Sorry not much flying here. Busy weeks at work, efficient fly-man Mr N but today has brought us to our knees withe news that our lovely friend passed this morning. She was due to start chemo and radio therapy this week but scan revealed tumour has re-grown since last month's surgery.
Healing vibes for your friend atb and hugs to all.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
hugs Narco.
all ironing done (last week's washing) both lines full with some doubling up of socks.
wifi/app connection to boiler sorted. plumber had put a passowrd in but not thought to leave it...he said (apparently) that bit was 'nothing to do with him'. Luckily for them they are shut today so wont get me venting my spleen. Might just be a snarky email Monday. Was no way of setting it until we got that sorted.
Dinner scoffed (jacket spud, fat free cottage cheese and salad)
