I am the brother of defendant. Letter was to address the car is registered to, which is also my old address. Gladstones haven't written to me, the tenants of my old house have passed the letters on to me.0

@coupon-mad
That's what I am here to ask. Does it need paying if she no longer lives in the UK? Could it affect her in the future if she returns to the UK to live? Credit rating etc?0 -

If something isn't adding up please ask. I have nothing to hide. I have no reason to wind up - I would be wasting my time too.0 -

write back to gladrags and state that the person named on the letter is no longer resident in the UK , and give date of departure , you will look a fool if the parking incident was after her departureSave a Rachael

Re-read post#10.
If the car is still in your sister's name and bailiffs come looking for her property...
It's a big 'if' though... seeing as the car is hidden at an address 'unknown'.0 -
The parking incident was after her departure. Although the car was in her name, the car was still being used by other members of the family.0

They charge interest for the fine, so over time it would build up. Can bailiffs not go after her property in the UK?0
