How do I check the meter? It was changed in 2007

The meter dial will have cu ft or cu m printed on it.

Your electricity use is very high at 12K Kwh, about 4 times the national average.

Give us both current meter readings, all the numbers including any decimal places.

And, from one of your gas bills, the meter units consumed and the amount of kWh charged for - not one of their estimates for your annual use.

I can’t cu m or cu ft on the meter, I would post a picture but I’m new here so not sure I can post a picture?

The meter will have cu ft, hundreds cu ft, ft3, m3, cu m or something along those lines on the dials.

Where are the decimal places in those readings, are there any 0s in front of them ?

The last number on both are in red, no 0’s in front

On the electric meter all I can see (under the reading) is
1 under the 0 and 1 under the 5

If the gas meter was changed in 2007 it will be Metric(cubic metres/m3). Metric gas meters were introduced in 1995.

Your gas consumption is low - around 7,000kWh pa but your electricity is very high around 13,000kWh pa.

How do you heat your house?

WOW just what are you using the electricity for - thats £1500 a year. Ignore the washing machine, the pc, the lights ? Have you got underfloor heating ?
