Oops, forgot to add that I had £8.73 when I emptied my purse as usual on Sunday.
I have a very pleasing £40 to go into my credit union account at the family history group tomorrow. How convenient that one of the members actually runs the credit union there at the community centre, and I dont have to make a special trip to the union at its normal time of Tuesday morning!

Hi dustydigger I have just seen you sig at the bottom of your post Well done over your weight loss :T that is brilliant :j

Hello everyone, can I join in? Given how late it is in the year, I'd be happy to have an extra £100 for some Christmas treats. Planning to pot all the loose change that tends to turn up in pockets and under sofa cushions, as well as any change from budgeted supermarket trips.

A VERY warm welcome to you Moguline No 049. It's lovely to have you with us. grinheart.gif Have fun saving and enjoying the banter. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on the 3rd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 1st Nov 2018.

*Please everyone: pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps me.

twigletsmum - I can't find your number, could you kindly have a scan through for me and see if you're able to please? If so, please let me know and kindly pop it on your signature for me? If you're unable to find it then please let me know so I can give you another. Many thanks indeed.

Hello at last SEALED POTTERS! :hello: I know it's been one heck of a time since our holiday, which was absolutely wonderful though excessively for Scotland. However, along with heat comes the epilepsy and I've had a really rotten time of it since the end of the holiday. So I'm belting on here today with you as it's not quite so bad here, very muggy, but not at all sunny.

I hope you're all as well as can be and not suffering too badly due to the weather; fantastic if you love the heat, but horrible if you really can't bear it, like me! This week is set to be a bit cooler, so I'm hoping I'll see you soon!

There's around £25 for my pot.

BTW. I saw a couple of messages about banking your money saved so far - which is perfectly fine! Please, be happy with whichever way you save as it's perfectly fine by me I promise you. :D

Keep safe EVERYONE, and don't forget the sun cream/screen

    Sue xx

Opening date for SPC 11 will be 1st November 2018

Thanks,Lost2.Actually I have put some back on,I lost 4 st in total over the last year.I have added about 500cals a day,and let my weight rise by 10lbs to get back to a normal metabolism.Letting carbs back in puts about 5lb back on immediately, and then we had visitors from USA in June, and we spent an awful lot of time feasting:rotfl:
I am taking a 3 month break from dieting as I think that will be good for my body. A bit unnerving seeing just how quickly the weight goes back on,mind you,and I have now been told I have thyroid deficiency which makes losing weight very difficult......(sigh) There's always something.
Anyway, the effect the weight loss has had is amazing, diabetes in remission (down from 49 to 37,blood pressure down from 145/87 to 119/69,cholesterol down from 5.3 to 3.3!!!!!! Good old vegetables, boring but lifesaving:T
I am now going to get back into slimming, starting this week, but I expect to only lose about 1 lb a month,a quarter of what I lost in the past, because of the thyroid problems. But that will get me much nearer to that original 4 st loss by Xmas, and slow and steady will win the race. My BMI is still very high,33,but my aim will be get down to the ''overweight'' region, below 30.At 70 I doubt I will ever get much lower than that:D So I will aim for a total loss of 4 1/2 stone, maybe by the end of 2019.Slow and steady!
    :)
