Ahead of my next trip to London at the weekend (going to the Chelsea Flower Show on Saturday) I've had an early purse clear-out of £12 in £2s and some shrapnel into the bottle.

I'm looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend; just hope the sun will shine on us now. We've been having such lovely weather....................we can only hope it comes back soon.

I have been dropping the odd bit of shrapnel in my pot but we tend to pay for everything on the Amex to build up air miles so there's not that much going in.

I hope everyone is doing well and your pots are getting a bit more food than mine is!

Oooo I was post 1000 though thread is moving awwwwwfully slowly come back potters! I need to know what your potting!

£9.15 in the pot on friday after DH's pub run, he won this week £10 note for £9.15 in change BUT it did include a £2 coin so

Emptied my purse - £13.97 to the pot!
That makes £180 in notes.
£15 in change is going to the credit union on Wednesday,making £187 there so far this year.
£90 in my SPC's sister pot,the £2 coins.
An amazing £457 just from loose change in 5 months.I cant believe it!Especially as I do a lot of my shopping with my debit card

I have no pennies! not a one poor pot, so unloved today. BUT at least I now know who's been pinching all the £2 coins! Saver-upper :rotfl:
