I rarely post on this forum now since when I once tried to offer help to one poster they simply argued without any reason until someone posted a link to an article by Martin Lewis and all of a sudden everything became crystal clear for them.
It was obvious to me they were a troll looking to promote the work of Mr Lewis presumably because they were an employee of the site. Since the management has so little respect for posters here this is clearly not the right forum for me.

Aren't the two very similar anyway?
Ahh yes apparently so.
According to a quick google search, it seems to depend on your intent, and also differences in US / British English. https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/26621/what-are-the-similarities-and-differences-between-irony-and-sarcasm
In all likelihood, I was wrongTBH, I wasn't really offended or annoyed about the word choice by le loup, so I'm happy with whichever word gets chosen or interpreted in the end

Are you sure?
I could get PPRed if you have taken offence.
However, I may take up your post #10 with the moderators. Oh! Just realised there is no moderation - damn.0 -

I seem to recall this person an another seemed to be at loggerheads over a financial matters and that member also seems to have dissapeared.
I didn't know you could get banned so I suppose that's what happened to both of them.
In a way fresh blood is always useful as long as you mind the ps and qs and don't go upsetting anyone and keep your hands to youself0 -

Good luck with that, at least where opinion is concerned.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0
