    Morning all.

Well, another STS for me this week... to the decimal point, so I'm getting a bit suspicious about my scales! Despite my ginger nut fest early in the week, I've just totted up my syns again and I'm well within the weeks allowance, I've looked at my menus and can't see anything amiss there, so I need to make some changes next week. I am going to keep a food diary, double check syns, up the speed and try to drink more water. Any other suggestions would be most helpful.

MrsRyan hope you had a wonderful day yesterday - congratulations!

You might find it helpful to post your daily menus on here and we can pick up if you're not sticking to plan. One of the things you might be slipping up on is not drinking enough, which apparently helps with weight loss!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - jacket potato; beans; salad
D - Spanish rice (Speed foods: onions, garlic, green beans, peppers) 1.5 syns for 12.5g of chorizo

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - chorizo 1.5; 3 small glasses of wine 15

I know it's a few syns over (as was yesterday) but easily pulled back early next week by cutting back.

    Denise

Thanks Denise I have posted my menus for the last week and haven't had any comments so I'm assuming they were OK. I know I don't drink enough generally so I'm going to make extra effort with this. I've also thought that I'll try to reduce carb portions - rice, potatoes pasta etc. - or replace with speed. I'm very close to target now so I expected a slow down, just not a halt!

    Todays Menu
B Bran flakes, rasps, 0% greek yoghurt and I tsp honey
L leftover SW quiche and salad, LTL mayo, fruit
D Poss Aldi Lamb Rogan Josh with added spinach, rice, salad with yoghurt and mint dressing
    Hea milk in tea/coffee
Syns above 3 so some to spare - will see if I need anything else.

  • Had a good evening at Durham Lumiere last night. Don't often go out after dark with daughter so she loved it. Had hoped it would mean she'd sleep a bit longer this morning but no still up at 6am. Maybe an early night tonight instead.

    Today's plan
Breakfast: Shreddies with yoghurt and banana. (HeB)
    Lunch: Beans on toast (6)
Dinner: Mackerel pasta bake with green beans & loads of speed in the sauce.
    Fruit for snacks
HeA milk for tea and cheese for the pasta.

if you type (where x is what ever colour you want the following bit in) and then after you've finished type what ever you want in that colour you type [/ color]

There aren't any spaces between the bits in the brackets but for some reason it won't type it without the spaces

    Hope this makes sense
