And I agree. Good to have virtual friends.
Thanks for the heads up on the notebook. I'll look when I go into town.

Happy New Year everyone!
In the hotel, half board, skipped breakfast (8:30 am insanely early after dancing and entertainment last night). Instead had banana and orange in the room. Lunch was a quorn cottage pie and steamed veg in a cafe, estimating 6 syns for vege gravy.
Had 2 ryvita with 20g gouda as a snack in the room.
I told the hotel that I suffer from severe IBS and gave them a list of what I can and can't eatI know, cheeky, but I'm likely to be taken more seriously than if I say I'm slimming. So, needs must. They're being very good and accommodating my "pescatarian very low fat" regime, everything plain grilled or steamed with any dressing or sauces on the side. I hope to come out of this with a loss!
Off to look at the New challenge thread now! :T thank you Kathryn! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Well done Maman getting rid of some cheese & crackers. DH finished our crackers off this morning, so that's a plus! Not much cheese left either just cheddar which I tend to avoid most of the time and a few slices of emmantal, which I can take or leave!
Good strategy Caterina. Don't stay in hotels very often but if I do think I'll do the same:D. I already ask for sauces on the side and don't choose fried stuff.
Off to check out the new thread.

Well said, Beanie, I totally agree! I know I couldn't have done this for a year without the support from all on this thread. And a big thanks to Kathynha for posting the charts each week - and I see we've got a new thread for the New Year.
Think I've caught up now. Lovely to see the new dresses, MrsR and Orlao - I love them and I'm sure you'll both look stunning. Very jealous of your holiday plans Joedenise - lovely to have some sun this time of year.
I like the diary idea for keeping track - I'll have a look in Card Factory Poohsticks, thanks for that.
Big shop done today. All the veg and some other fresh things were half price in our Aldi this afternoon so the fridge is full to busting with vegetables and salad stuff - no excuses for not eating well this week!
Well done those who have managed to stay on track over the holidays.
Wishing you all a very Happy and Healthy New Year x0
