I think (from memory) that I did mine as stepped - eg: 10 tiles, line above 8 tiles, above that 6 (and then topped it with a chimney)

You could "insert-shape-left and right hand triangles" for the sides and change their colour when you pay them off. You can drag the shape corners so they fit the size you want (e.g. one cell or many).Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Sorry, not explained that very well. You can still use the box for text and calculations but you can't colour in just half of it
. Though you can make a stab at it with fill effects it doesn't really work.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well, a spreadsheet is an axis aligned grid, so it's more Minecraft than notYou can draw diagonal borders through a cell, but I've not come across a way to cleanly split the background fill colour.
Of course, both Minecraft and crysis at full detail are displayed on a 2D matrix of pixels, so you could cheat, zoom out to a ridiculous degree, and have a stepped roof that looks like a smoothish roof (maybe, if you squint a little). A hi-res spreadsheet house if you will. You'd need to hide the grid lines, and do an awful lot of cell merging...
It would no doubt be easier to draw a house in a drawing app (paint would do) draw a grid over it, and use the flood fill tool to colour in your blocks and diagonal half blocks0 -
So a giant spreadsheet that can only be viewed from space - the great wall of spreadsheets - if you will? :rotfl:0

Hi Ed, hope you are keeping well.
I'm here seeking a bit of info.
If I remember rightly, I think you had solar panels fitted? The other day we started talking about this. The future seems a bit uncertain right now, and it seems an attractive idea to generate our own electricity.
We have a quite large south facing roof, which is never in the shade, so it's something we could do probably quite easily.
Just wondered if you had any comments about your experiences. e.g. approx cost of installation, do you generate enough electricity for your needs and do you 'sell' much to the national grid. Also, any regrets about having the solar panels?
I'd be really interested in your thoughts
