Woo hoo well done :T
Get spreadsheet fiddling0 -
Thanks all
No particular need for spreadsheet fiddling yet, as it's one of those "jam tomorrow" deals (except I know the rewards will actually materialise). Basically I get a 5% pay bump now and 5.5% increments for the next 3 years. I'm also expecting a 3% pay rise once the local government pay settlement is agreed. It works out at 25% increase by autumn 2021 :j
I am very excited, haven't had an above inflation rise in wages for 6+ years.
It also improves my credit card affordability (not looking to borrow, but it gives me more options for 0% BT) and should add £45,000 to our mortgage affordability (Mrs E and I had a serious discussion about whether a nice big flat in the posh side of the city would suit us better than a house in terms of maintenance and lifestyle). Anyway, not planning changes for 5 years+ on that front :rotfl:
It also boosts my fragile male ego that I am seen to be putting in the effort and have been rewarded accordingly0 -
That's a brilliant pay rise!0
