OMW - the weather this week! One of Mrs E's pals called her after their weekly badminton match to say that she thought that there was something wrong with our headlights. Just as well she did, as they were both out. Luckily it was just broken bulbs, but DD and I spent a very frustrating 2 hours at the dealership before they replaced them. On the way there I had to drive through a puddle that was 10s of feet wide and a good 2 feet deep. The smell of frustrated clutch was horrendous. The headlights weren't covered by our warranty, but they were covered by our Car Maintenance budget. They probably could have been fixed in 1/4 of the time anywhere else, but it was sideways rain, they did a general safety check as well and threw in a wash and hoover, which saves me two jobs£97.83 paid off the CC between yesterday and today. Am starting to wonder whether we could pay off the whole thing by my 13th wage (the 1st of June). I feel it might be too much of a squeeze, but I am feeling fairly motivated. We'd basically need to find £31/day until then...Brighter here today, but still blowing a gale and chucking it down with rain. Time for another coffee, a quick computer game and a shower before Mrs E and DD get back from dramaHappy weekend all.2
