Boo! Made a mistake with postage, boxes were larger than I thought. Total profit after everything was £37.71. 75% ROI after 5 days :)
Now have 4 ridiculous boxes to post tomorrow.
*Edit: Oh yeah - £37.71 paid off CC!

It's rubbish isn't it. I took a look at fixed rate bonds just now to see if I can do something better than keep paying down the remnant of my mortgage (without completely clearing it to avoid the early redemption penalty). I found this list. I might go for a 2 or three year bond
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Fans of money saving may wish to note the fact that the Vanguard SIPP is now available (0.15% platform fee). It doesn't offer drawdown (so not suitable for retirees yet), but a good home for anyone with a ££,£££ pension (higher amounts and you probably want to look at fixed fee brokers).

    Damn message disappeared!
    1. £49.94 paid off CC
    2. I'm having a day off
    3. Pensions transferred to Vanguard last night, we're both fully invested in Target Retirement 2045 (aiming to retire in 2041, but thought we were ok to take on a teeny bit more equity risk as we've only recently switched from 100% equities)
    4. Walked DD to nursery and got lots of hugs o:)

Hugs = way more than any pension.  Sounds to me like a really really good day!

I was seriously considering the Vanguard SIPP (feels like we've been waiting ages for it to happen) but it doesn't have drawdown as an option (as yet) so am now considering Fidelity instead (both for a new lump and to transfer a couple of small old pensions into)
