Hope all went well
Grand! Although I am sure we are all exhausted refereeing toddlers. I know parents can have rose tinted glasses, but I am very proud of DD. She was the only child who we didn't need to admonish for screaming or attempting to beat up her peers :rotfl:Can't complain Ed. Off to Granada for Christmas :j.
Hope the do went ok, how's the head?
That sounds lovely GG. The head is actually fine, it was too hectic to drink much (and my parents keep us plied with heroic quantities of scran). I think I had two tiny glasses of prosecco and a couple of (large) beersLots of good news over here. Hope the party went well?
The party went very well, although like any party with 20+ guests, I can't actually remember getting much of a chance to chat
Feeling chipper today after DD slept for 13 hours :A The plan is to exhaust her in the fresh air and round off the day decorating a gingerbread house before we go out for a meal with friends this evening.

Ed that sounds a great day, and a well-slept toddler and well-slept parents is a great result from it too
Gally fantastic Christmas visit you've got planned - I bet Granada looks magical at this time of year.
Hope today goes equally as well, Ed.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Just spent an hour and a half building DD's main present, only to discover a missing piece!
I know the Germans are meant to be efficient, but I doubt the good folk at Playmobil are that good
Luckily Mrs E was able to pinch a similar piece from a set that we already had, I doubt the little one will be able to tell the difference.
I am *very* glad to be finished. Other than that, we've watched a fair bit of Christmas TV, went to the library and nipped into a local restaurant for a coffee :T0 -
Merry Christmas one and all!
We had a lovely day, DD received far too many presents and is struggling to play with them all. Tried to have some (kind) stern words with a few serial offenders who spend far far too much on her
I was very lucky, received lots of great books, films and some lovely edibles and not a single dud present. Mrs E was not so lucky and received one rather questionable item that turned out to be surprisingly expensive... Will list it on eB@y and never ask the relative in question to apply their own judgement in future :rotfl:

Leg0 offer a service where you can request missing pieces from a new set for free (errors do happen, after all) and I *think* Playm0bil do the same.
