    Checking in, Day 29 :)

NSD - Still on 14/12, and this will be my total for November. I bought some Christmas bits today, and need to pay the dog groomer tomorrow.
Organise - Well, I got lots of errands done this morning in one trip!
Value for Money - Free winter safety check from main dealership for my car (which was bought used, so was a bit surprised to be offered this).
Exercise - 2 x dog walks, would love to do more, but finding it difficult atm with OH poorly and unable to do much :(
Mental Health - Still worrying about OH and DD, but both worries will be dealt with fairly soon I should think, or at least outcomes will be known.
Be Christmas ready - Bought 2 slightly odd Christmas items today, both related to the Christmas tree. We have a tree in a pot in the front garden, and this will be its third year of use. I needed an oilcloth tablecloth to put over an inlaid chest, which it will stand on ok, but which I didn't want water damaged  Also bought a large plastic pot saucer for the same reason. Both items will be in ongoing use (could do with a spare cloth for the dining table) and were bought from ebay at a good price, certainly a lot less than a Christmas tree would cost!
Eat Well - Eaten too much again :o
Be Grateful - Grateful for free check up on my car, particularly as OH is not able to do it atm, for 2 good dog walks, and some sales on ebay and in my sales unit :)
Declutter - Not yet, but the night is young!

Looking forward to tomorrow and working out my totals for the month :)

    Day 29
    NSD 13/20
Organise - Flask of tea and lunch made. Sorted out some more of the living room for when the hospital bed comes tomorrow. They phoned me up earlier today to arrange the slot for tomorrow for delivery. Had a phone call to confirm that funding for the carers has gone through. 2 slide sleets have been delivered today. Got some useful/helpful telephone numbers. Did a few other things in the flat tonight.
Mental health - Seemed ok. Glad that things are coming together for my Mum to come home. Having some me time tonight. Came home early from hospital and did things in the flat. Watching an episode of a programme that I like.
    Grateful for:
Confirmation of delivery of hospital bed tomorrow.
    Having some me time tonight.
Going to have an early night.

    NSD 14 !!!!

Went to W1lko to get some £1 screenwash as mine ran out and thought I had mere pence on the l0ve2sh0p card, turns out there was nearly £2 on it. So no spends. Must have been topped up by the people I do surveys for. It is not the first time that it has suddenly had more money on it than there should be.

Organise - got out the pot of advent sweeties, I have enough to do the first 15 days. Got out the cloth advent calendars, will buy a pole to hang them from on the wall tomorrow. Also have the three pieces of the tree hiding behind the living room door. It might go up tomorrrow.

Value for money = no money spent.

    Exercise, none

    Mental Health - fine thanks

Eat well - broccoli and rocket soup and baguettes. To stop it being too healthy for the kids, a side order of onion rings. Used up 2 bags of rocket and a whole bag of frozen broccoli. Some are complaining about sore throats so I thought an industrial hit of vit c and iron would not go amiss. Lunch (for me) was left over curry and rice from last night.

    Report in - present.

Gratitudes - the running out of petrol light waited until I was parking in front of the house before it came on. Will fill up tomorrow (payday!!!!). I have all I need for lunchboxes tomorrow already in the house. That being said, I have not made the pasties for tomorrow yet. That waitrose are doing all chocolate boxes at half price on the 1st December (one day only, one day only)

Bad bookkeeper I’m not sure if it’s the same but I make cheese, onion and potato pie. It’s not actually a pie. Basically you boil potatoes and onions and mash them, add in soft cheese (like philly) and some grated cheese and mash more. Then put it in the oven for 20 minutes with more grated cheese on the top. My sister does the same but put a tin of baked beans under the mash in the oven proof dish (I don’t like beans). It freezes well and is nice and cheap. I have mine with mixed veg and sometimes gravy :)

NSD today, I have counted and that makes today my 7th. Very pleased. Could do with spending money/buying things but nothing is urgent so I'm going to see if I can make tomorrow a NSD too.

Today I am very grateful. I have a job lined up with a temp agency, can't start immediately as I need to clear a DS check, but can't imagine anything going wrong with that, but should be earning money before Christmas which is a relief. Then I did 90 minutes on the exercise bike and managed to do a bonus 10 minutes, then finished 'The Sinner' on Netflix.

    Hi all turtles :j

    Checking in: 28/30

    NSDs:13/15

Organise: As predicted no organisation done today except that DH took out all the pieces of carpet to the garage. Desperate to get organised but another birthday day out tomorrow...don't want to seem ungrateful but really need to do some stuff at home waaah..

Value for money - No spends today

Exercise - no just being pampered at the spa

    Mental health - Fine thanks

Be Christmas ready - done nothing on this front but will be in the shops tomorrow, sadly have DD with me so can't do any pressie buying for her.

Eat well - Sadly the people ruined our spa day by not giving us the food that was supposed to be included in the price. To add insult to injury another mother & daughter were there at the same time & had the food. They felt so sorry for us they offered us some of theirs! Despite DD having proof on her phone of the booking - & what was included - they wouldn't honour it. Felt very sorry for her, finally got some toast at 5pm when we got home, then had to cook...wasn't specially healthy either.

Gratitudes - For a nice day with DD up to 2pm, skin feeling good after all the treatments, warm bed & early-ish night, no medication needed!!
