NSDs-Had so much to do that I stayed in so NSD 5/12.
Organise!- Did all the ironing. Also changed the bedding and washed it so there will be more ironing tomorrow. Made a bolognese and ticked quite a lot of smaller things of the list. Some of them just take minutes so I don't know why I keep putting them off. Also binned some of the boy's clothes which are beyond help and have a bagful to take to the charity shop tomorrow.
Value for money!- Didn't spend anything today.
Exercise!- None but I have been on my feet a most of the day.
Mental health!-Didn't sleep well so feeling a bit tired but feel better for starting to tidy up again
Be Christmas ready!- Haven't done anything today.
Eat well!- Had lovely antipasti for lunch and having pork chops for tea. It would be easier if we didn't have so much food in the freezer to use up.
Gratitudes – Accomplished quite a lot and just about to catch up on two episodes of The White Queen.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hi guys
7/18NSDs yay
Organize - I have put all the gifts I have so far on the bed in the spare room and will wrap them tomorrow. I will write the cards for those that have presents while I am at it.
Value for money - not spending, having all the cards and wrap I need left over from last year.
Exercise - I haven't stopped today, cleaning wise, I have done from top top bottom, cobwebs (yes embarrassingly) skirting boards, under beds, mirrors, windows, doors and frames, carpets, bathroom, hall, stairs, landing, kitchen, oven, downstairs loo, living room, all laundry done and front door washed down. Bags in boot for charity shop/clothes buying place. Phew.
Mental health - haven't had time to think about anything today so i'm good I guess
Be Christmas ready - we're getting there, slowly but surely.
Eat well - Yoghurt, blueberries & granola for brekkie. I have had the same lunch as if I was at work and at the same time so as to avoid snacking. Tuna salad, fruit salad and a small piece of malt loaf. Leftover casserole and veggies for tea.
Thankful for - a super dooper sparkling house, food in the house and a roof over our heads.0 -
Clear Out - sadly, 3 items of clothing have gone into fabric recycling today - a too small gillet (DS3) - lovely, super warm and feather filled, but it is a pale colour and has 2 small stains on the front, so CS do not want it. From my pov, we had good value from it - worn lots by DS1 & DS2 before DS3 had it!
Also a pair of PJs (DS2 - previously were DS1's) - developed a big hole in knee. Finally, a pair of school trousers (DS3 - but - again - they were originally DS1's (from Woolies!) - the clasp fitting broke and is irreparable
Identified 2 unused items from kitchen cupboard (gifts) for flebaying
NSDs - 2 - not one today
Organise - set your budgets now, pay to your debt/savings first
Food - £202.44/ £400 - £30.07 spend in A5da today
Fuel (me) - £54.45/ £65
Social - £122.79/ £150 -
Toiletries - £2/ £10
Clothes - £96.48/£100 - multipack of PJs for DS2, as he was already short before a pair went into recycling!
Gifts - £244.85 - Xmas Eve PJs for DS1 & DS2. A Xmas card for OH
Value for money - Checking receipt with APG afterwards means I have a voucher for £1.10 to use next time
Exercise -
Mental health -Same as yesterday - more sleep than usual is helping here, as it's helping physical well-being. Getting some Xmas stuff sorted also helping.
Be Christmas ready - Lists done on laptop. Can now start to fill in gaps and know exactly what is still to be bought
Eat well - Yes
Report/ Gratitudes -
* remembering to check receipt on APG site!:T
* dry (if cold) day - got some lightweight washing dry on line :T
One of the 2 expected tradesmen turned up today - although the one that turned up was 30 mins early. I wasn't fussed on him, so don't think we'll go with him, regardless of his quote (I have to feel 'right' about whoever is going to be working in my house, particularly as they are likely to be alone at points, such as schoolruns) Back to square 1 with regards to flooring, as that was the no-show....I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

NSDs : 2/16 - Need to get more organised. Seems there’s always a little something I need to pick up when I’m out. To make matters worse I left my £10 note change at the self service machine in the supermarket

Today I am grateful for a beautiful crisp morning, for a clear shining moon when I left the house, for buses running to schedule, for a good day at work, for dd wearing her monkey onesie and trying to hide amid all her soft toys, for getting the embroidery done on some bunting (needs to be completed by Friday), for dd's excitement at being allowed to look through the argus catalogue for presents (and ideas), for dh making tea, for swallowing a couple of small froglets, for having a warm and safe place to lay my head.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Checking in: Day 13/30
NSDs: Nothing spent today, so 8/12
Organise: Posted ebay items, work done for my business, managed to mostly dry a load of washing on the line outside. Also made lovely chicken stock in the SC
Decluttering: Gave DD2 my spiralizer, as I don't use it. It is a tabletop one and (DD thinks) better than her handheld one. I can only think of limited uses for long strings of carrot :rotfl:It wasn't expensive, I don't use it, she is pleased with it, and I now have big space in my cupboard :T
Value for money - Not today, as I didn't buy anything
Exercise - Walked dog x 2, plus carrying and loading boxes for my business
Mental health - Tired.com
Be Christmas ready - DD2 and little GD wanted to make Christmas puddings today, and it is a thing that has (apparently) to be done here each year rather than at home. So, made 2 little ones for DD to take to her Polish in laws' Christmas Eve celebration and a bigger one for Xmas day here for everyone - and I had all the ingredients, with a bit of improvisation / substitution :T I still have to steam them, but will do this in the SC tomorrow (couldn't do it today due to using the SC for stock).
Eat well - All HM food as usual, porridge and fruit for breakfast, a cheese and salad sandwich for lunch and cold chicken, jacket potato and salad for dinner. Downside is DD bought along a large section of a chocolate fudge cake she had made, and unsurprisingly I succumbed to a piece of that!
Gratitudes - Grateful for naughty chocolate cake, getting the Christmas puddings done and for almost 4 year old GD bringing me a picture she had drawn0 -

For my Mum having 2 gorgeous American trainee doctors looking after her today.
