Paying off debt to freedom

I'm also feeling more confident of my debt free date, as naturally with the salary rises, I will be able to pay more off.
So.... you know your rough pay increases and roughly when they occur, so you can see what your future debt repayments could be... and you could look to see how this changes your debt free date!! Should bring it forward quite considerably! (sorry, any excuse to play with a spreadsheet and I'm there!!)
Great news on the fleabay sales! So a little shopping spree is on the cards!? Have fun!
ps, what was the girlfriend cooking to use sooo much oil?? lolstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Nats now you’re making work for me!!
Not sure £60 is a shopping spree, maybe £600!
She was cooking omelette, sausages, fried toast, bacon, hash browns and beans. The oil was mainly in frying the hash browns and fried toast.
I’m quite bad with oil though, she shouted at me yesterday because I pour oil on my pasta as I cook... I just thought that was normal.
Activities for the weekend, try to get some space away from the girlfriend lol, need some me time, meeting a friend tomorrow for brunch at somewhere I know the prices are reasonable, go gym both days, buy work clothes, wash work clothes + iron + clean house, drink my housemates milk again to annoy them (just kidding - hate this housemate!!!!).BC 0/15305.83 MBNA: 0/11231.16 TESCO 0/822.87 LOAN 0/4272.670 -
I'm sooo upset, went out and the brunch place was being refurbed so we ended up in a place that serves half the food at twice the price! I'm a big guy, a small mini person sized portion doesn't do anything it just gets lost in my pit of stomach. So I ended up getting chips as well, more money spent!
I feel like such a fat blob now, came home and made waffles with ice cream and chocolate sauce all over oreos. The brunch just didn't hit the spot. I then made some sausages (like the whole packet) and ate them on their own with my friend.
Always the worst when you spend too much and it's not even that good!!! The girlfriends coming over later to cook for me, the only reason I messaged her was to see if she wanted to cook me food later, but I pretended I was interested in how she was before slipping it in thereShe's apparently bringing some amazing steak over that her mum got from one of these fancy cooking websites meat delivery thingys (not sure either what that is lol).

I was awake at 5.30am this morning but only because it was a new week and I wanted to budget my money on YNAB. How sad is that?
Do you get up at 5am every morning you work?
And yeahhhh to free pizza. I like free pizza!0 -
Just thought I'd check in and say hello again!
I have to admit I your diary makes me chuckle on the romance front lol!!! I'm almost 28 and have been single for 4 years so gives me an insight into the single care-free world :rotfl:
Anyway, you've just reminded me I've got a wireless router and skybox to get on ebay!
Keep up the good workDebt Total October 2017 £20,511.27 :eek:0 -
I do indeed get up at 5am every morning I work. I head up to the gym and get my workout in, either 1 or 2 hours.
Here is my desk currently:
It makes me laugh all the fat people getting just one slice. Like we’re supposed to believe they got that way with one slice and lettuce!
I might get more...
& fair enough, single for 4 years?! I’m assuming you’ve had some romance and stuff during that period? TBH I might be single again soon - I can’t deal with relationships.BC 0/15305.83 MBNA: 0/11231.16 TESCO 0/822.87 LOAN 0/4272.670 -
Well my diet was going well until you posted that! I haven't had domino's in at least a month
And no, no romance for me, I'm a date-a-phobe! Had 1 date arranged last year then blocked him on whatsapp because I chickened out :rotfl:
Anyway, relationships aren't for everyone, keep up the good work :rotfl:Debt Total October 2017 £20,511.27 :eek:0
