[Need advice] knock down neighbour motorbike when parking, requested repair bill >£1k

Even relatively common mass-market stuff is worth that sort of money now though, isn't it?
My BMW had a list of almost £19.5K including options when I bought it, and I didn't even tick many boxes...0
