To be fair, the BT increased speed email does say in the small print,


These broadband boosts are based on the monthly broadband and calls price we believe you to be paying in September 2017. These broadband boosts may not be available to you if your contract has changed during or since September 2017.

But that's not what the CS Advisor said when I agreed a continued contract.
I'm in the process of moving away anyway now as still in 14 day period to cancel

I got the upgrade cloud storage, Now have 200GB I don't use. No speed increase sitting with 55/10 even though my line can handle 82 down. I phoned them and they didn't seem to know why I didn't get the speed increase.

The increases are still ongoing I believe.

Nope. I got told it would happen before end of November, never happened. So I used the price increase to leave.

BT keep telling me of their generosity in giving me an extra 500Gb of cloud storage to go with the 500Gb of cloud storage I already have.

Problem is that I don't want, need or care about 1000Gb of cloud storage. I don't even want 10Gb.

But it would be nice if they reduced their prices instead of offering unwanted goodies.

I have. Was on 55/10 and now on 80/20.
