I'm on Infinity 1 and was getting 55/10. I was upgraded around end of September and now get 80/20.
All depends on whether or not your line can handle the extra speed.0 -

Thats it in a nutshell many lines cannot handle above xxx speed .
My line up to 52 meg and capable of that at one stage is now set to 39 meg due to unknown rein/ sunshine problems .( it is spelt rein )0 -
Still with 50/10 here in KT1 area... was looking for ward to the speed update until today when I got their email about price changes...
Might not be a bad thing to change providers and get a new router to replace the smart hub...0 -
they coping the VM model are they?
A free speed upgrade and then increase the price ?0 -
I'm on infinity 1. Got the email and increase from 52/10 to 80/20.
2 days later I agreed another year contract and speeds went back to 52/10 after being told they would stay on the increased speed.
BT CS useless and wouldn't help saying if you change contract the speeds will go back down and is only selected customers that will get the increase.
They're totally useless.0 -

I recontracted after my speed increase and it stayed at 80/20.
Post on the Community forums. BT staff there are much more useful and helpful.0
