No, but there have been issues with MIL doing this, according to the Prankster, for several years.

Examples include breach of the Pre-Action Protocol - demanding payment or reply to an LBCCC in seven days, misuse of data, misuse of assignments, not having valid assignments and many other things. This is also all over this forum, so it's not new.

I suspect that this is the FIRST case of breaking the new laws by MIL , I do know there history , as you can see by my posts on this thread

Ok do I have spoken to dvla , they said they sent sure about who by or when data was requested , and that I would need to fill out a v888 form to request to find out however that takes 2-4 weeks , they also said it might be worthwhile reporting to trading standards the CPMS & MIL , again I am now unsure what to do next as they have only given me 14 days before they take action

As pappa says, that is wrong info

    You email David Dunford direct
    david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

SUBJECT: SUSPECTED DATA BREACH For urgent Attention

Tell your story and enclose copies of all correspondence
Ask him to confirm the date your data was accessed
    and by whom

You could try reporting them to the police...

At this stage, the police would not be interested

If the DVLA suspect fraud they would contact the police

Take the Parking Prankster as factual

I would not bother Mr dunford until the answer is know , , a "humble" slave may just spit out the truth , whilst the "bosses" my try to cover there tracks and be "economical" with the truth , or simply stall , Mr dunford has a record (regarding MIL) of taking two year to answer a simple question

OK, I understand that, let's hope the OP does this.

For a long time, I have questioned the motives of Dunford

My thoughts of what is going on is VERY BAD
