Ok so the envelope has just been found in the bin minus a few stains however not on the date.. PHEW!!
The date on the letter (POC) is the 11-0ctober
Date on the envelope is the 31st October...0 -
So they need to hand write or ecletronically write the letter?
Is there a draft which can be copied to form this letter?
Also (Sorry)
Do you wait for a response from the letter even if the deadline with an extension is the 11 NOV?
So sorry for all the dumb questions just want to do it right,0 -
Type up a letter , handwriting is a terrible idea
There is a thread by loadsofchildren123 that’s easy to find
No, you file a defence at latest 14 days from service of PoC.0 -
From the other thread click on Loadsofchildren123's profile to view her previous posts - she has drafted a few complaint letters for other posters recently and you will find them there. You'll need to scroll through a fair few posts though to find what you're looking for so be prepared to do some proper research.
Email is better than handwriting0 -
How long is the process..??
I just thought you sent that letter of then filled in the form and a decision came from that?
I shall look for that now
Thankyou
could take months
depends if the claimant pays the court filing fee once a local court has ben allocated
if you found and read the post by BARGEPOLE , he tells you the whole process , although they may fold early
assume it will go to court until its proved otherwise
prepare for the worst , hope for the best
concentrate on dealing with the current paperwork, not the future paperwork
best to get a witness statement from the hotel in the near future though , so get this paperwork side done and then contact the hotal for a written letter , a signed statement0 -

NB: I'm spoon feeding you here, but you do need to get better at researching the forum and finding the information you need.0 -
Let hope it folds early, anyway the letter, shall it just be sent to the address of the court? After typed?
Just a simple letter or does it have to have legal bits in it?
Which thread it this I have found a few but not the drafted letters?0 -

Here's a draft complaint letter by another CEL defendant. I've only glanced at it but it was inspired by one of our lawyer advisors so it should do the trick:

That's enough hand-holding. Show us your draft.0
