We are talking about posts not threads.

So after the defence is sent you just wait?
    Yes, just wait.

You should get an email acknowledgement.

While waiting you have an opportunity to gather evidence and understand what is involved in preparing a witness statement.
  • I have received an email from CCBC and I don't understand it...
    says:
    Good Afternoon,

Further to your correspondence regarding the claim made against you, the claimant is not currently able to enter judgment as a certificate of service has not been processed to date. Once we receive the certificate of service from the claimant confirming they have served the further particulars they will be at liberty to request judgment.

Therefore if you wish to dispute the claim you need to file a defence with the Court as soon as possible or alternatively you can make an N244 application to a District Judge. Guidance has been attached along with the Help with Fees guidance.

Why Have I been send this? I have already sent my defence and the complaint to that Amanda and CEL?

That email is in response to the complaint you sent to Amanda.
Look at the address of the sender.

As you have already submitted your defence - you have done that haven't you? - there is nothing you need to do immediately.

This response has been shown today on other current CEL threads.

@OP, are you keeping abreast of those other threads too? To be honest CEL is the only operator you are dealing with, we are dealing with dozens of different PPCs and diverse threads, yet we are ahead of you on CEL.

You must get ahead of the curve on this, you can’t keep expecting us to explain everything that is going on in the CEL saga - it is fast moving, keep up.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Everyone with a CEL claim needs to be reading the other CEL threads, to keep up.

Our time is limited as the forum is VERY busy, and as Umkomaas says, we don't just deal with CEL claims alone, but you do!

Your job in reading this forum is easier than ours! It's not for us to keep repeating ourselves or pointing out something said today on one or more CEL thread(s), that we reasonably expect all other CEL posters to have been reading for themselves before posting as if what they've received is unique.

Nothing is unique on this forum, especially not in all the dozens of current CEL threads.
