Is it me or the paint?

Finally got rid of my fuschia bedrooms walls 🤗. The 2.5ltr tin of dulux trade undercoat said it should cover up to 17sqm per litre. I only painted three walls of a 12sqm room and I've used nearly all the paint. The other wall holds the fitted wardrobes. Is the info on the paint tin to be taken with a kilo of salt? I…

Plus after you have sanded it all down, you will need to wash the walls to remove all traces of powdery residue.

I hope that all this hasn't put you off decorating for life!
