I do the survey every day and haven't won a thing under the new system - I think I'll continue through January and then if I still haven't won I'll give up!0

Same here. Under the old system I would regularly win, only £2 here & there but as it was quite regular it added up to a few amazon vouchers for me. Plus I would often get invited to the media diaries so would get the incentive for that too. I think overall since I joined early this year I managed to earn around £30 in Amazon vouchers.
Under this new system I've not won anything at all & not been invited to any diaries. I did get invited to answer a few extra questions today for a £1 incentive, so answered the questions & then get told the £1 incentive will be sent to me in 10 days! I know it's only £1 so doesn't make much difference to me really but why so long?
I actually emailed them 2 weeks ago asking if they will be listing prize winners & they said at the moment they don't have the facility to do this on the site but they're looking into being able to list the winners for prize draws.0 -
To be honest after several years doing the GFK Media surveys I'm thinking of ditching it, due to the new prize draw.
Previously you would get the tickets for doing surveys which were all entered into draws at the end of the month, so every other month you might win £2 or £5.
Automatic entries was so much better than giving users a choice to what to enter, congrats you have won a £10 voucher code which you can use on a number of places is better than a £10 voucher for shop X0 -
I said I would see how January goes and then stop .......I wonder if people are already stopping to do the surveys....0

I found I had to keep chasing them, but only once did they not pay up.0 -
I must admit I gave up when they brought in the new reward system as it seemed, to me, over complicated for something I only wanted to spend a minute or two on a day.
I think I only ever won £2 on the old system and while they say this new system increases your chance of winning it also seems you have to do more for that to happen.
Having said that I was also fed up at chasing them to email vouchers I had won/earned on the 7 day surveys and also had the experience of others here of having a voucher but having anything I would have redeemed it against 'out of stock'.0 -

Not won a thing either, though I did think it was too good to be true.
I've noticed something about GFK Mediaview. Just when you're about to throw in the towel, they send you an email asking if you want to take part in the week-long panel with a guaranteed £5. I always thought that was pretty sly of them. It must somehow be (amongst other things) based on the number of days on the trot I haven't filled in the questionnaire. I mean according to the number of respondents they have for their Instant Polls, we're up against the likes of over 10k or more.
I've been with them for years now and never won a major prize. The odd £1 and £2 here and there, but for the effort - which involves filling the thing out every single bleeding day - it hasn't been worth it at all.0 -
I've cleared down my points into those current prize draws, and that is me finished with them. Just can't be bothered with it anymore, they need to reward people for their time, ditch the stupid new prize system and return to the old tickets into an overall prize draw with the more surveys you complete the more entries you get.
It's like pinecone, does anybody use their new rewards catalogue or are they like me who cashes out with paypal vouchers straight away?0 -
Wish I had come across this thread earlier. I thought I would use them because the other site GFK Mediaview is very good at paying out. Are they the same company?
I have more than a 1000 points now, but I have not received points for the last survey I completed and have not received a definitive answer from Pam as to when they will be credited. Other sites usually give a survey reference number and credit the points within a day or two max.
I feel like I have totally wasted my time but instead of continuing with the surveys I may cut my losses and not do anymore.
It really shouldn't be so difficult. There should be no need for us to 'chase' the survey company for points.0
