Gfk surveys and app

I've just terminated my membership. Just (foolishly) spent 90 minutes completing a survey then as it got to the last question it said "this survey is not available". This site is one GIANT con. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!0
-
Same here, waste of time.
Joined last October, only managed to get to 1420 points. There are six surveys showing as available, with potentially 780 points to be earned, but its impossible to open them. All generate an error, usually "Invalid QueryString Supplied"
Avoid this site!
That's EXACTLY what I get. Emailed them about it, no response. They don't seem to have any way of contact (facebook etc) other than email.
Here's my advice - AVOID askgfk . AVOID Pam Hughes. AVOID gfk nop.
Oh, and google crawls this site. Just a thought.
Interestingly, the link for their supposed partners regarding their code of conduct here:
https://www.askgfk.co.uk/index.php?id=16&L=en
Provides a dead link to esomar.
I would, however, recommend contacting esomar (proper link - http://www.esomar.org/) and MRS (https://www.mrs.org.uk/) about this shower of scam artists, as they are, by implication endorsing them.
Complaints link for MRS here - https://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/how_to_complain0 -
I've avoided them for a long long time. Never got anything from it and their survey's are egregiously tedious. If I get redirected from another survey panel to them I just close the survey unless it's stated as a very very short one :P0

Well I'm now up to 1440 points, having somehow managed to earn 20 points in the last 4 weeks.
This morning, I got an e-mail from the lovely Pam Hughes, asking me take part in a survey and offering 90 points.
This would take me past the magical 1500 points and allow me finally claim my first payout. With mounting excitement, I clicked on the link to the survey, only to be rewarded with the message "There has been a problem starting the survey - please contact us."
LOL
I'm only posting this to keep this thread going, in the hope that it will warn other potential users and stop them getting suckered in to signing up to GFK.
I would be interested to hear from any forumites who have ever had a payment from GFK!!0 -
after a few surveys finished with points not credited and many ignored emails. 60 points to go until redemption.
I have finally got my 1500 points today, ordered my voucher. As soon as I get it, I'll cancel my membership.
They are even worse than Toluna. I will not miss them and that is for sure.0 -
I just spent nearly an hour completing a survey that took me from 1440 to 1840 points. I've requested my voucher and if I ever get it I will close the account and lose the 340 points.
Has anyone actually received a voucher?0 -
GFK seem to have considerably revamped the prize structure on these surveys - not really sure if they're still worth doing, and wondered what other people thought? I don't need or want a Kindle or a Pizza Express/Starbucks voucher - and although the prizes are allegedly refreshed every week, I'm just not keen on that type of reward, I preferred to choose my own vouchers to spend in shops. It seems like the overall prize fund has diminished too. If anyone could convince me of an upside to this change I'd be happy to be proved wrong!0

I stopped bothering. They kept inviting me to the £5 7 day surveys and then not paying me. Bar stewards! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I have had a different experience. I also did the 7 day surveys a month or so back. And i received £10 in payment. Chose an amazon voucher & it worked fine.
Also received two £1 amazon voucher prizes as well for bonus questions i think.
It takes me 3 minutes a day to do so i'm for continuing.
Sad when other people don't have a good experience and have problems.INACTIVE ACCOUNT0 -
Have they changed their prizes?
I won £5 last month and also did a 7 day survey and got £5 for that as well. Which I cashed in for Amazon vouchers.
And while I normally never win anything usually I did win their £50 Loyalty draw twice in a row this year which was nice!I wonder what the odds of that is?
