I have just sent this e-mail to them, in response to a survey invite from yesterday, which I did but points still not added (surprise surprise).
They were bad when they were Surveys.com, which I used to do through Maximiles, but Maximiles, very kindly and honestly, used to add my Maximile points in spite of them (when I used to contact Maximiles about the problem).
"why aren't my 20 points for completing this added?
I did complete it - no problem - and when I clicked on the link after (as points were not added after), it confirmed that I HAD completed it.
This keeps happening and I am really beginning to feel that there is a lot of technical incompetence happening with your surveys. You are very bad at adding points or responding to e-mails.
I am owed at least another 400 points since I joined, which I have e-mailed about, used lots of my precious time over, and lacked replies about. I have even gone to the trouble of taking screen shots confirming that I have completed surveys and yet you ignore some;
I have started a thread about this problem on the Martin Lewis Money Expert site, and am going to update it, as I am so fed up with being used badly."
Anyone else?

Thanks for this thread.
I have had the same problems as stated before (I have emailed for the long survey completed and no incentive; in vain. I had the 20 points not credited too)
I will close my account as soon as I reach 1500points.0 -
I joined their survey thing and they promised me amazon gift vouchers for each survey. I did about five of them and got nothing. They sent me dozens of e-mails asking me to do more surveys.
Whenever I do their surveys on PTC sites (like clixsense, swagbucks, etc.) they often give me an error at the end after I've entered all the information. So whenever I see a GfK I usually avoid it! :mad:Since Jan 2014 -- Clixsense -- £300 (join us! ♥) | Valued opinions £120 | Nectar Fanatic (SavvyShoppers/Canvass)

Hi, they have never done that - not on this specific survey site which I gave the link to above. As myself and the other poster stated you have to get 1500 points for an Amazon voucher with AskGFK
Are you thinking of the daily GFK TV survey thing where they *say* you might be in with a chance of something in the prize draw? That's a different thing.0 -

I am thinking the same. I hate dishonesty, and I feel they are being dishonest.
They replied to me yesterday -Any points earned for completing a survey for Ask GfK will be credited to your balance within 10 working days of completing the survey. Simply go to your survey homepage where a record of your current balance can be found as soon as you login
I replied (really fed up)No, I'm sorry, but your FAQ's say it will be immediately unless you state otherwise.
You did not state otherwise in the survey invite.
I am still owed points from you from last year as well as earlier this year, and this week.
I am going to contact the MRS Complaints Department if you do not award my points honestly and fairly.

5.
The use of incentives to stimulate response must not be used by Members,
Company Partners or clients as a means of collecting respondent’s personal
details.
**Where a Member or Company Partner offers respondents incentives to participate in a client’s study, the Member or Company Partner (or their sub-contractor) should administer the collection of respondent’s details and the delivery of any incentives promised to them.**
I know where to look for the points as I am not stupid. Each time I ask about missing points you tell me something I already know without actually addressing the real problem.0 -
Thanks for letting us know. I think they are getting away with this. So fair play to you!
Please keep us posted.0 -
Thanks for the warning - I had been a member of the German site for a good number years when living there and they were always reliable, paying very well and quickly; no problems whatsoever.
Won't touch the UK site after this!0 -
well I can't speak for everyone - in all countries, but, coincidentally, I did find others complaining about them in other countries.
I was looking for where to lodge complaints and my search took me to different places.

I have been doing them - and have painfully reached 990 points (1500 needed for £15 voucher) - but to get some of them awarded I have had to e-mail, present screen shots to prove I have completed the surveys, and then it's not always accepted.
I lost about 200 or 250 or 300 points once - a long survey, but they say it was not recorded - they wouldn't accept the screenshot that showed - in the address bar - that it was completed (I'm going back a few months now with this one, so can't remember exact wording - and the e-mails are on a laptop which won't work now).
Let me tell you about my personal experience. I have literally lost more than 1500 points because of Ask Gfk incompetency. They are liars .They love to send you surveys but never give you credit for your time spend completing those surveys. Their system sends me long 20 to 30 minutes surveys from Miss Pam Hughes and then when I used to complete these surveys and click on submit sometimes I used to see some sort of error and all of my efforts used to go in vain and sometimes I used to be lucky enough to see a survey completed without any error. But when I used to log on to my profile to see my points after every successful completion, my points would still be at 1400 even though I finished more than 15 surveys including profile surveys but still not crossing 1400 points like they did not wanted me to cash out. And even reaching 1400 points was a milestone as they literally did not credit me points for so many surveys I can count on my fingers. And when I lost it completely I started emailing them a lot of times and I mean a lot of times and never heard from anyone including Pam. Finally after wasting a lot of my time, someone bothered to reply stating that points will be allocated once the survey gets closed. But they never did. And I kept waiting. I sent them more than a dozen emails asking for an explanation but have never heard from miss Pam or anybody else. I was so annoyed and was praying that once I get to 1500 points I will deactivate my account. But at the same time, whenever they sent me a survey, I thought okay lets participate in this one and cross the 1500 points mark. And I kept on emailing them about the missing points issues. Finally, my prayers were heard after four months of constant emailing and my points crossed 1500 points. I was relieved and I immediately made redemption. I thought it was finally over, but I was so wrong. For the next six weeks I had to constantly remind them that I have requested a redemption and they have to send me my incentive. I started emailing them because if you do surveys you know when you make a redemption you instantly get an email saying you have made a redemption. But not in this case. I was wasting lot of my valuable time and energy but I wanted to make sure that I take something back from them rather than leaving empty handed. And finally my shopping voucher arrived in the post after six weeks waiting time. Since then, I checked my profile, there were still 250 points left and I have been sent around 6-7 more surveys after my redemption but I did not attempt any and left my account for good.
So the moral is that whoever is having problem with them keep on trying and never lose hope. I understand it takes a lot of effort and time but you should be able to retrieve your £15 from them and then say good bye to them for good. This company is very different to other survey companies and should be avoided at all times. I wonder if I had spent the same amount of time, efforts and resources in other sites I would have earned around £70-£80.
Thanks all.0 -

Plus the Amazon voucher option (which would be sent by e-mail) had disappeared and there was ONLY some anonymous '£15 Highstreet Voucher' which I never choose on other survey sites as I have health problems which mean I cannot get out and go round the shops and have to shop online.
To explain how I finally had some points added - someone phoned me up representing them yesterday and we discussed the matter. She phoned me back and told me they were adding the 400 from last year.
The 90 and the 20 and the 160 from more recently have not been added yet.
I did say to her that I wanted to be positive on this thread about their help, but reading the above makes me wonder - as this is now my experience too.
I will let you know if I get my voucher.0
