I have SO MUCH to do but I'm really fidgety! About five emails to reply to for my new job in addition to my epic to do list. I also already have nursing homes contact me for work. Fabulous!
BUT I CAN'T CONCENTRATE!!
I've just downloaded a free gym pass (from MSE of course, blooming love this place), so I might go and burn off some nervous energy for an hour before I carry on with my to do list...2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Huge well done on the job! You sound extremely busy at the moment with lots of things to keep you busy, hopefully things start to settle down a little for you soon.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0

Thanks DFD, it's going to be a few manic weeks but I'm really excited for the year ahead!
WTMA, I'm going to leave off finding a place for now. Some months I'm only going to be in the UK for a week so I'm going to pay my mum storage fees and stay with friends and family while I'm here.
The main reason is I've decided to try and save £10k this year, and there's no way I can do that paying rent! Nothing like aiming high, right?! I've already got two confirmed nursing home clients for entertainment, and I'll be working on wedding fairs and acquiring gigs on my off weeks. My eyes are narrowed in determination
I'm off tomorrow to my friend's - she's cooking dinner and I've bought a bottle of bubbly already so it'll be a MUCH needed NSD! No more plans other than a work out, contact more potential clients and and ask my job contact a question about the forms I have to fill out
I'm shattered so I'm going to head to bed. Night all, and thanks again for the supportxx

Wow that's a great target, I'm sure you can hit it if you put your mind to it, especially with saving on the rent.
Have a lovely dinner with your friend.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0 -
Thanks DFD!
Remembered to cancel my Netflix with one day to go - phew  that's an extra €14/£12 a month to put in the kitty. Mum said I can just use hers so it was an unnecessary expense...
Some new office and gig clothes arrived this morning - absolutely everything fits, it was all in the sale and I got an extra 10% off voucher so quite chuffed with all of that!
Gym is done, I cooked Mum brunch and we had a natter, and now I have to pack to head to my friend's.
Have a good day everyone!2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Happy Friday everyone!
Had a lovely couple of days on the Solent seeing friends, walking in the New Forest and eating tons of good food. Plan today is take the dog out for a walk/run, finish off the last of the paperwork for the job and head up to Liverpool - next week the budget is super tight and I have a lot of expenses going out so this is the last weekend of fun for a while2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Oh Lordy, I'm making my list for next week... These are the expenses I have to cover off the top of my head:
- my friend's baby shower accessories
- union membership (this includes my Public Liability insurance)
- car insurance if tax comes through
- a few more office clothes
- flyers, business cards and banners for business
- a few things that have to get dry cleaned
- any wedding fairs I book in once I've got my work schedule
:eek::eek::eek:
I've still got some final payments from Ireland coming in next week but I'll have to dip into my CC which doesn't thrill me.... just need to make sure it's paid off in full when I get paid!2019 Aim: Save £10,000
