I've run out of things to do!

Sooooooo I'm binge watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend until I fall asleep, and tomorrow I have to clean the whole flat, finish up packing and bundle everything into my friend's car when she gets here tomorrow night :j:j:j

Thanks all - After everything that's happened the past six months, the three-day delay felt quite cruel! But I'm finally home. I've just had my first day back in sunny Torquay, a lot of the boxes have been sorted and the by the end of tomorrow everything will have a home :D walking the dog today I spotted so many hotels, bars, etc that have live entertainment. I feel like I've made the right decision in coming home - the anxiety has lifted so much!

    Plans for tomorrow:

    - PAD
    - NSD
    - Sort out new fuel cap for car
    - Sort out rest of the boxes
    - Register with local doctor and dentist
    - Check bank accounts (I'm expecting at least one payment tomorrow)
    - Cancel website for Irish band
    - Contact friend who I'm going to wedding with next month
    - Figure out which Auditions I'm going to over the next month and sort diary
    - Get my 10k steps in

Looking forward to my bed tonight!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thanks WTMA and Uncanny! It feels great to be back!

    - PAD Done
    - NSD Done
    - Sort out new fuel cap for car Done
    - Sort out rest of the boxes Done!
    - Register with local doctor and dentist Done
    - Check bank accounts (I'm expecting at least one payment tomorrow) Done
    - Cancel website for Irish band Waiting on rest of band to decide what to do
    - Contact friend who I'm going to wedding with next month Done, he can't go now...
    - Figure out which Auditions I'm going to over the next month and sort diary Done
    - Get my 10k steps in Done, and I still have to walk the dog

There's quite a lot of my and mum's stuff that has to go into storage, luckily our old next door neighbour has a garage where we can store everything for a couple of months. She's refusing to take money so we're going to come up with a nice gift for her. It's all heading up to her's on Friday so we have a couple more days of clutter but we'll manage! :)

Doctor and dentist are both sorted, although there's only one dentist in the whole of Devon taking on NHS patients atm and it's an hour away :eek: beggars can't be choosers though, and I've had an issue with my jaw since October that needs sorting.

The payment I'm waiting on is from Idiot Boy - I sent him over money for fuel when he was going to help me move; he said he sent it back over the weekend from his account (Lloyds) to mine (HSBC) - no sign yet. If it hasn't arrived by tomorrow I'll contact him again.

Auditions are sorted - now I have to learn and practice songs! And stop eating chocolate...

I took myself on a little walk by the beach today at sunset. I'm trying to do something just for myself every day as a bit of self care.

    Plans for tomorrow:

    - PAD
    - Get my hair done for my friend's FB page
    - Start looking at music for audition next week
    - Update finances from last few days
    - Car MOT
    - Head out with a friend for dinner and drinks - is it a date? Is it not? I have no idea!

    Haha!!

So I have an old friend who I used to perform in musicals with when we were kids (15/16), and we hadn't seen each other in years because we both worked on cruise ships and lived in London (he's also a singer) but our paths just never crossed. When I was home at Christmas we went to see the new Star Wars movie and ended up talking for about 7 hours... Anyway, since then I've been thinking about him a lot and when I suggested meeting up he immediately said yes and that he was looking forward to catching up.

I'm definitely attracted to him but I have no idea if he feels the same way. I need to find a way of figuring this out subtly - any ideas??? :rotfl:
