    Thanks Uncanny!

I had such a good day on Friday - the wedding was just beautiful and the wedding couple were delighted. Friday night ended up being the best night out I'd had in years! I decided I wanted to laugh, dance for hours and get a Christmas smooch from a handsome man and I got all three! The hangover yesterday was well worth it, especially because it was my last day of work :D 24 days straight of singing and event management, I'm exhausted!!

    Jobs for today:

    - Check in the flight
    - Check what size bag I'm allowed
    - Pack
    - Write Christmas cards
    - Take out rubbish
    - Check bus timetable to get to the airport
    - Social Media update
    - Download shows for travelling
    - FLY HOME

    Happy Christmas Eve!

Another lovely day here - today was family day so Mum and I had my gram, and my brother and his clan over. There is so much food left - I physically can't eat any more rubbish and Mum's not over keen on it either so it'll be lying around for a while I suspect :) we did all the presents today, my favourite gift was donkey that has been sponsored in my name! I can go and say hello to her at the sanctuary next month - I'm mad about donkeys so this is the perfect present! I also got £70 which will cover my expenses while I'm here and any extra can go on my CC.

I'm just waiting on a few cheques to clear and then I can pay off at least £500 - I have to say I'm starting to get a little impatient with all this waiting to get things restarted. So I've been thinking about my new year's resolutions and this is what I've come up with so far:

    - say yes to work opportunities
    - visit a new country
    - save my 3-6 month emergency fund (at least £5k)
    - end the year debt-free (unless the business dictates otherwise)

    Plans for tomorrow:

    - PAD
    - Register for dentist and doctor
    - Pay for parking permit
    - Pay final electric bill
    - Meet friends for coffee, dinner and cinema - finally seeing The Last Jedi!
    - Measure spaces and make list of furniture and items Mum and I need
    - Social media posts

    :)
    - Resist the urge to buy everything in the sale!

Well, it's finally happened. I've lost my voice. Im sat at the airport with water and lemon tea hoping for a miracle. Nothing for me to do except total vocal rest for 24 hours, sleep, steam and drink as much water and honey and lemon as my body can handle.

I'd hate to let my last clients down - I have 7 gigs from tomorrow til Wednesday- but more importantly I can't afford to lose that money...

    Stress central!

    Oh No

When your voice gives out on you (and it's your livelihood) I can imagine the stress
Calm thoughts, plenty of fluids and... well, you're a professional so you ken fine what you need to do.

Hope your pipes are fine again soon luv :A
