Morning all :hello:
Laptop logged on without delay this morning :T
Drank a glass of water while the kettle boiled - it tasted fine yesterday, foul this morning, but still drank it. Was up at 3am wandering to the loo (in the dark) and when I got back in to bed I learned something!!! Thank you Jojo. Usually I'd have laid convinced I couldn't sleep because of the noise of the wind; instead, inspired by Jojo's advice, I relaxed and listened to the wind...three hours later I woke up :T
Recycling that was gathered up and rinsed in my MAD 15 minutes last night has been put into the appropriate bins, wild birds are fed and I've topped up the bird bath, bed is made and windows now closed as no-one will be in all day.
I hope you are all snug and safe.

Morning all
Been trying to make up for lost time this morning. I thought 6 am was early enough, but I take my hat off in awe to Jazee.
Living room has been tidied etc, I will vacuum it when I get home. Downstairs loo and the shower have been cleaned, I'll do upstairs when I get home.
I'm hoping to be in work just until lunchtime, as I want to dash over the Mr L for a few bits this aftenoon. It's a bit of a trek across the big town, so I have been collecting a list for a while. See - my notebook fetish comes in handy again
Must dash, see you later.0 -
Everyone out to school.. it's blowing a hooley out there... 3am I FINALLY got to sleep.. by which point I had been super angry and then sad.. I hate being an insomniac.. but of course last night was the one night Twinkle didn't wake up for a feed when we went up.. she woke at 4:22... that was my sleep done then! I am not nice today!
WM went on last night with cat piddley washing so I need to hang that out .. and OH needs to sort his bag later. Squeak has ice skating at 6 .. I might be in bed when he gets back!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Got up this morning and made bed and tidied around bed and bathroom, then came down to a tidy lounge and reasonable kitchen for breakfast. Emptied DW and sat down with cereal, tea and PC. Was thinking that was all I was going to do today as off to work this morning (but not for another 30 minutes at least) but then I was motivated to go up and clean my bathroom. OK not a thorough scrub but toilet and basin done, dusted round and brought down washing and put it on. It only took a couple of minutes max as room was tidy.
Sorry if this is obvious to most of you but I haven't been doing this and therefore any cleaning task means a huge tidy up first. This is my 3rd week and I am starting to think it could become a habit to put dirty clothes into the washing basket every morning and to make bed and tidy round bed and bathroom before I come down.
There is still a long way to go both in tidying and cleaning. No I haven't set any objectives except to not go backwards and anything extra is progress. Talking of which have just spotted 2 hot water bottles in kitchen that should be in bathroom unit and have been there since last winter at least.

Good morning all, early start for me today, trying to get back to my regular schedule ready for work next week.
Now I'm not sure what to do with my day! I'm planning on taking the pup for a run (I'd head out now but he's just had his morning walk and play with his doggy friends) but apart from that I have a free day.

Busy morning here so far - school/pre-school runs, made DH packed lunch, cleared eleventy billion leaves off the drive, pegged the washing out and cleaned out the black bin after it was emptied. Forcing myself to sit down and so an hour's paid stuff now on the laptop.
Hope everyone is as well as can be, have lovely days all xMFW

Ouch to the fingernail piggers xx
Yet more leaves cleared from both the front and back gardens. DH business admin done, lunch eaten, DW re-loaded and beds made. Also made a half hearted attempt to pack for our half term trip to the sun. Next job will be a very windy school run, on foot as DH has the car. Onwards! x
PS Kettle on and biccies on a plate, help yourselves xxMFW
