Evening all. Had a very tiring day brain wise today; expected to go and train some new staff on one of our systems, turns out that they have no idea of the processes we need to put in place so I could train them. Cue 7 hours of process mapping while they changed their minds constantly and I really couldn't keep up at one point. Consequently have got very little actual work done today but oh well.

As it wasn't that far from home, compared to the office, I've managed to get quite a bit done since I got home.

    Marvellous Monday Lounge

    Level 1

    Empty bin
    clear gibble
sort newspapers & magazines - recycle
Wipe coasters, sticky switches and door handles
Polish coffee tables and lamp tables
    Plump cushions
    [/STRIKE]
    Level 2

    [STRIKE]Wipe or vacuum upholstery
    Dust furnishings
    Wipe sill[/STRIKE]

    Level 3

    [STRIKE]Wipe skirtings
    Dust light fittings
Sweep/mop/vacuum floor - use the edging tool to clean all edges
    Check for cobwebs[/STRIKE]

    Extras

    [STRIKE]S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom[/STRIKE]
MAD half hour - could be self improvement or nibbling at a big task
Make a social arrangement - me time is important
    Drink more water!

    Even managed to:

    - Do yet another load of washing (will it ever end!?!)
    - Order money for our holiday

Now just have to cook dinner and sort out my stuff for tomorrow. I might even list 5 things on ebay if I get a chance.

*hugs* to those that need them and general positivity all round!

    Evening all.

Blowing a bit outside right now, so I hope everyone is indoors and safe and warm. Only a few bits achieved off the list this evening. A few magazines and papers have made it to the recycling bin from the LR, WM has run, HHI done before work this morning. DD and I have been home alone this evening. Consequently DH will get our leftovers for his lunch tomorrow and he won't ever know it wasn't lovingly prepared just for him! Meal plans have been thought about for the rest of the week, and I've just got distracted looking at SC recipes as I am going to try to use it more. I want a few more different recipes rather than keep using it for the same few.

Another bad night sleep last night, so I'm doing my best not to drop off right now. I might spend my MAD just now going through a box of my mum's family history stuff which I pulled out from the depths over the weekend.

Got more exercise today as the Ladies is at the opposite end of the building to the office :) My kidneys love flylady :heart2:

Not a happy day at work but DS cheered me up by emailing me a picture of a bat-ted: which I guess is similar to what I was thinking about one or two people.:o

Went for a walk to the shop in my lunch-break. Windy, but in an exhilarating way. Hope no-one has been too inconvenienced by Storm Ophelia!

Going to set the timer and have a MAD 15 minutes in the kitchen, which will be 15 minutes more than is usually done of an evening :T

Feel like I had a really productive day. Managed to get most of Level 1 and Level 2 done, and even vacuumed master bedroom, landing and stairs and did S&S in kitchen and bathroom. I even helped DD with her homework.
But ... DH has been really indifferent to me all day and its sort of dragging me down. He just called my week-old chest infection a 'cold' and told me I'm being oversensitive. Hell, maybe he's right about the second bit. I'd lit loads of tealights in the (tidy) living room and made it nice and cosy / romantic and instead of talking to me or engaging with me in any way he just jumps back on his laptop and ignores me. Well, I've come up to bed and left him to it. I've got a good book.

Sorry for all the moaning and negative vibes. Hope everyone had a productive day and that Tuesday is awesome.

Morning all. Early start today so I don’t think I’ll get much flying done. About to get dressed and walk the dogs.
    Have a great day everyone.
