Brexit, the economy and house prices part 5

But it might point out that that being out of the corrupt, stinking, fascistic EU is the least worse alternative.
BTW half a million people have signed a 'certain' petition, I cannot wait to see how nasty the second referendum on Brexit will be, that is why I shall be completing my postal ballot and heading south to the sun.
Would that be a South to the Sun where you spend Euros or further South where you spend Pesos.
Perhaps this Italian Crisis will get you more Euros for your pound soon. It has not made much difference £1 = 1.1466 this morning. Not yet repairing the false Brexit damage to the pound. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
:rotfl:wishful thinking. Says everything about Brexiteer attitudes, actually hoping for the victory of extremist politics in orde to destroy a hated institution, little realising everyone will suffer and those least able to protect themselves will suffer the most.
In your superior opinion.
And that is what democracy is all about. You have your opinion, someone else has theirs. Your problem is assuming that yours is consistently right and somehow morally superior to others.0 -

There was nothing about destroying a hated institution in the bit you quoted. That's just something you made up.
But lets just look at your own words. You say that those least able to protect themselves will suffer the most. Are you saying that the millions of young unemployed in southern Europe are not already suffering because of the destructive effect of the euro?
And when you refer to extremist politics (by which I assume you are referring to views that you do not agree with), do you not think that the fundamentalists in Brussels are extremists when their sole aim is to protect a flawed project which brings prosperity to some and misery to others? That it does not matter if an elected government is brought down because it might pose a threat to the project?
Perhaps it's your own remainer attitude which you should examine.0 -

You could equally have posted a picture of Paul Dacre.0 -

Pound in a slump. Down to 1.1393 this morning.
What was it the week before the referendum I think in those happy days one pound bought 1.30 euros. Only a 12% devaluation, it has been worse.
False Brexit is not helping the pound. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
.....and yours is a typically Remainer mentality.
People across Europe are voting for extreme parties for a reason.
Don't simplify things. There are many reasons....it's not just the bogeyman, corrupt EU etc etc. The problems that are making people vote for extremist parties would still be there if the EU disappeared.
The EU is not responsible for the war in Syria, mass migration and the refugee problem; the EU is not responsible for the north south divide in Italy or in the UK for that matter. I don't remember the EU being significant to the rise of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Chairman Mao or Stalin. The EU is not responsible for the racial divide in America and the rise of Trump. The EU is not responsible for a return to a cold war with Putin. The financial crash did not start in the EU. The EU is not responsible for all the stabbings in London or the alienation of the white working classes. The EU is not responsible for Islamic extremism.........all the above are cited as reasons for the growth of extreme parties. To blame the EU is trite and indicative of an axe to grind imo! What's more it's at times like this that we need international co-operation more than ever. Leaving the main insititution in which we communicate and co-ordinate responses to all of the above is the height of folly and something we will deeply regret.0
