I was in the UK this week for a few days.
I made time to join the regular protest against Brexit outside the House of Commons.

    Some VERY GENERAL observations.

Black Cab Drivers are for Brexit
White van man is for Brexit
    Cyclists are Remainers
    Journalists are Remainers (yes surprising)
European Tourists say they are sorry and amazed that UK is leaving

You all should try it one day.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

LOL, All the Tories in key Brexit positions like Boris, Davis, Fox, etc are not Remainers...

Brexit is a mess because the Brexiteers promised the nation something they were never, ever, in a million years going to be able to deliver.

Now that the chickens are coming home to roost and their lies are being exposed Brexiteers try to blame Remainers.

The whole thing has become an absolute farce and made Britain the laughing stock of the World.

As someone who is now in favour of the break up of the Union, you obviously have a vested interest in the UK being viewed as a laughing stock and thus I’m not sure you’re a reliable witness as it were.
If Brexit is a mess it’s because IMO not enough people agree with it. The referendum result needed to backed up by a GE that could make it happen, instead we have elected by accident or design MP’s who don’t believe in it, even if they say they do.
Sooner or later our Politicians have to decide, then the real Brexit debate begins.

    Eh?
For most of us the Brexit experience is not a city break. Stop being so arrogant.
You venture outside London by any chance?

We had that election in June '17.
Treeza campaigned on a 'get behind my hard brexit' platform.
    Subsequently, she lost her majority.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

If Labour were honest about thier position on brexit The Tory's might have got a bigger majority.

    Yes, that’s my point.
The 2017 GE result scuppered proper Brexit big time.
That said, the political imperative to honour Brexit remains.
That imperative has the power to destroy one or both of the main parties.
This exercise in can kicking will end eventually.

If you protest against Brexit, you protest against democracy.

It was a golden opportunity to align political interests on the different Brexit options or challenges.

So what did May go on about? Housing and welfare taxation reform focussed on the elderly; went down like a lead balloon.

Corbyn? He was too busy bribing students with free education offers.

It certainly wasn't a GE focussed on Brexit.

No. Jezza promised to end tuition fees and, when asked about student debt, promised to 'fix it'.

The yoof fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

Both main parties are hopelessly split on Brexit, so it was politically expedient for them both to hide behind the “we’ll honour the referendum result” claptrap.
There’s no hiding place now though, the time is coming.
