Just 1 opinion from a bank nobody has heard of
Rabobank is in the top 20 European banks based on total assets.
That you haven't heard of them says more about you than about Rabobank. ;)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

No one cares about experts. Sharon in the One Stop reckons we'll be gr8 without the EU. I know who I believe.

Yes, well you see some of us care about not being impoverished because a bunch of xenophobic ninnies voted for something they don't understand in order to achieve something they can't define which would be delivered by a collection of politicians who don't appear to exist.

I would much rather be governed by the EU than you. Quite frankly.

If Leavers can get their head around that axiom you may start to understand why the Brexit you want isn't going to happen.

It's absolutely ridiculous to forecast this sort of thing that far ahead.

So many variables could change the calculation so widely, I really don't know why it's given much time (in the press or on here).

Based on growth etc since the vote - it's already wrong.

Yes, well you see some of us care about not being impoverished because a bunch of protectionist ninnies want to overturn a vote for something they don't understand in order to achieve somethintg they can't define which would be delivered by a collection of politicians who don't appear to exist.

If remoaners can get their head around that axiom you may start to understand why any Brexit is better than being ruled by politicians who care more for Germany/France than they would ever care for us if we stayed in

You recall that CAP reform that Blair was promised in return for upping our contribution?

And by 2025 every member will be in the euro or sidelined, that wrecking ball of a currency is being used to keep everyone in line and is the best mode of control they have.

Everything is not sweetness and light in the eu, we simply do not hear about other countries' woes as they do not hear about ours.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I believe that we need to stop playing games with the EU - they know we're bluffing - and get on to making proposals that they might accept. We need to work with them to get anything meaningful out of this instead of acting like toddlers.

There's nothing 'No Can Do' about acknowledging we're totally outclassed, we just need a change of strategy.

I'm keen to make a success out of Brexit, but no-one has been able to tell me how to do that yet.

Who's playing games with whom? The EU's default position is to demand solutions and then reject everything we propose.

And for you to say that you're keen to make a success of Brexit is the direct opposite of everything you have ever posted. Laughable.

Don't quote my text, change it and then put me as the source.

That is completely out of order. Learn to use the internet and get some common decency while you do so.

democracy is not about the people democracy is a system where those who covet power can take it without resorting to mass murder. This is why we have elections every 4-5 years so the powerful have a multiple chances to take power in their lifetimes it stops them from raising armies and taking power that way

It is one of the most important inventions we have it has saved us from dictatorship and mass murder. I dont buy the idea of 'will of the people' it has nothing to do with the public.

The question is do you want to put a risk democracy by fighting this in any other way than using democracy? If you want to stop this the way to go is to set up a party (or convince an existing one) to oppose the exit at the next GE

The UK will be fine so long as we stick with free market capitalism and a floating currency

Even if the worse comes to pass it will just mean the pound falls further so we import fewer expensive things like iphones and BMWs and more affordable versions like Chinese smartphones or fords at 1/3rd the price. Life will go on just fine.
