That is NOT how it works. It would depend on who was in the driving seat. If Khorbyn ever got in and if he was in the driving seat he would set course for the biggest rocks he could find. His ambition seems to be to wreck this country, probably so it could be handed to his mates in Russia on a plate, his biggest ambition seems to be an economy similar to that of Venezuela.

The idea of the euro should have been shelved long ago, it is clear that the only people it really works for is the Germans. It damages every other economy it even breathes near, even the French are less than keen on it.

Is it not strange that the people that say the eu has stopped any wars within the eu are the people that started the two world wars in the first place? They are basically saying hand over your country and we will not fight you for it.

The eu wants to take over the world. Why else would a trading bloc need an army? To this end it is my belief that they will soon make it very hard to leave the eu, how they will go about that I do not know, but once we prove that there is life after the eu then the doors will be altered to one way only.

Any opinions about the Euro from someone living in a non Euro country can be dismissed.
It’s like a vegetarian having an opinion on the flavour of beef.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Well it seems to me like we got the status quo alongside a big cherry of permissible third party trade negotiations on top.
Seems like a marginal win to me, given that cherry is probably the most important thing we wanted.
But let!!!8217;s call it a capitulation if it keeps you happy.

The big cherry of trade deals is a opportunity for a WIN but that is not a given.
If you had a choice, which countries would you like a new trade deal with and what products would you like in the deal.

What advise do you have to Britains export salespeople.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

You don't care about all the things May said she'd never agree to that she agreed to?

I agree the trade deals thing is a good outcome but we still lost on everything else .
Though few countries will want to sign a deal with us until they know what deal we have with the eu anyway.

How does Britain turn the trade deal opportunity into real money.

Which Countrys are at the top of the list and what products.
I ask as I have no idea.

I don't even know where to begin with that. You want to leave the eu because your scared of Corbyn?

How do you feel about the Tories taking £160000 to arrange a tennis match with an ex Russian cabinet member? If you're going to claim Corbyn is a communist or Russian agent, then you need to at least admit the Tories are worse, right?

I've been asking that for 2 years yet and no-one has ever given me an answer.

I was under the impression that you wanted
    A. Agreement to be reached
    B. May to soften her approach and relax her red lines

Now it appears you actually wanted May to stick rigidly to her red lines, not giving an inch.
At least try and have some consistency.

You said we lost on everything else. Is that it?
And where have we lost this influence?
Sounds a bit like you’ve just made something up.

There is a massive advantage in that it gives us more scope and information about the areas we need and don’t need to prioritise

Non of us should underestimate the value of the extra 21 months the transition deal gives to BOTH sides.

If we believe anything we have to believe that Britain will not leave the EU until midnight on December 31st 2020.

This gives manufactures with supply chains that cross the British border with the EU time to put in place their contingency plans.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Dont knock Luxembourg too much they appear to be on the side of Britain.

Bloomberg Brexit bulletin has this to say.

    QUOTE
After a year of remarkable unity among the 27 remaining countries, there was clear evidence on Tuesday of tension as the bloc formulates its position going into trade talks with the U.K. The issue was financial services and how harshly the City should be treated in the final trade deal, Ian Wishart reports from Brussels.

New wording was added to the negotiating guidelines on financial services and two EU officials said it was deliberately vague as it reflected the internal debate among the 27. France and Luxembourg on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to the role for U.K. banks post-Brexit led the effort to get the new wording included. Luxembourg has long called for a pragmatic approach on financial services, while France has been more hardline about the sacrifices Britain has to make if its leaving the single market.
    END QUOTE
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Anyone living in in an EU 27 country, who cares about Britain, has plenty to say about the economic jump in the dark that is being made by Britain.

A couple of further things from Bloomberg.

    They report
    QUOTE
Nearly two-thirds of voters think the EU will come out of Brexit talks better than the U.K., according to a poll by BMG for Left Foot Forward. Among Leave voters, 39 percent think the EU will be come out on top, with 61 percent optimistic about the U.K.s chances of doing better
    END QUOTE.
I do not understand as the trade talks have not started yet. Is this about inexperienced trade negotiators again.

    AND THIS

    QUOTE
Leonardos Opportunity | Italian helicopter maker Leonardo SpA sees an opportunity in Brexit. The company, which owns Britains only helicopter producer, wants the U.K. government to buy more choppers and fund an export drive in order to safeguard its factory in southwest England. Brexit is strengthening the companys hand in talks, according to CEO Alessandro Profumo.;Brexit is in this perspective positive because clearly the U.K. is focused on industrial activity
    END QUOTE

This is one of those opportunities I have spoken about over trade. When the new trade deals are being negotiated Britain needs to get helicopters on the zero duty list when talking to countries like Chine, India, Australia, Brazil, USA etc etc etc.
Although actually I dont know which countries Britain is prioritising.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
