The illegal immigrants don't help, but in general it's a case of Paris citizens littering their capital.
Thank God we're spared from that over here.

Indeed. Most realise Western society is poor in many similar respects.

However, the point being made is 'one trick pony' Arklight believes every country in the world is superior to the UK in every respect.

    I don't believe he's ever said that.

While I don't condone littering, that picture was clearly taken after the NYE fireworks when tens of thousands of people were corralled into a small space. you can tell by the barriers in the background. It definitely isn't typical of a walk along the Embankment on any other day.

    I thought that.
    From 2014 too.

Then I thought "What a surprise! More remainer deception!"
I mean, a major celebration is just the same as a normal day - not to mention that it looks like the Victoria Embankment where people have paid £10 per head from 2014 onwards to partake of the celebrations and also presumably to fund the subsequent cleanup. ;)
Why oh why can certain remainers not grasp that deliberately trying to deceive does not work?

There's another earlier from someone trying to prove a point about global trade and the WTO that then uses the WTO themselves and in the process proving themselves totally wrong!
    :rotfl:
    No problem; you're welcome
    Ahem.
From your own quote that you link to is this:
Some 423 notifications regarding RTAs (counting goods, services and accessions separately) – comprising 267 physical RTAs – have been received by the GATT/WTO
    Do you see that?
Do you then understand what it says?
It appears not; these RTA's are still under the jurisdiction of the WTO. However many parties having agreed them and where they are agreed does not alter that.
That is why the WTO must be notified.
    ;)

    Quite.
In the distopian future of Brexit Britain, litter strewn streets are the natural precursor to the inevitable breakdown in society. :)

And none of this would have happened without the EU? Give over.

History makes a mockery of you, maybe you should study it. It didn't happen without the EU, there was no sign it would happen without the EU, the EU had to fight hard for us to clean up our beaches.
IMO the EU bathing water requirements coupled with privatisation of the water companies were the main drivers of change.

The water companies didn't choose to do it, they were forced to do it. Left to their own devices today they would stop spending money on it.

Some businesses in the referendum went on on about cutting EU red tape, this is the kind of thing that they mean. The working time directive was the number one thing brought up on TV, the uk government has been fighting against it & so I would expect it to go when they have nobody else to answer to.

The EU has done wonders in making sure that most countries in Western Europe have the same levels of safety.
