I think you edited something.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0

I added the word "it" in but I'm not sure that word missing would mean I'm pointing something out.
You guys done trashing the thread? We were talking about migrants learning languages. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I voted to do what is in the best interests of the future of my country.
Oh, you voted to remain in the UK?The right of anyone to access in work benefits without prior contribution has been a massive draw for all and sundry IMO.
That is true for british citizens, I was under the impression that EU citizens weren't entitled to benefits when they first arrive and EU law allows them to be invited to return home. For immigrants outside of the EU, we pay them benefits because we don't let them work.Rough_Justice wrote: »Of course some speak good or passable English but whether or not they do, IME many stick to their own families and/or communities as much as possible, both in and outside work and for a variety of reasons.
Normally due to negative experiences with the racist locals. The bigots do it on purpose to make sure the immigrants can't integrate. It's all part of the plan that 51% of people got conned into.0 -

I would have said "Quit while you're ahead" but since they never were ..... and still no contribution in four posts now!
Here's a view of France's handling of migrants from the USA.
"Macron gets tough as France struggles to deal with migrants"Macron's government is now tightening the screws: ramping up expulsions, raising pressure on economic migrants and allowing divisive ID checks in emergency shelters.Police staked out a tollbooth north of Paris in an operation against the "migrant flux," stopping car after car to check for migrants who don't have residency documents.
Can you imagine the outcry of faux outrage if we did this here in the UK?0 -

Perhaps you might try not perceiving this country purely from your own viewpoint.0 -

In work benefits are payable to EU migrants instantly I believe. Cameron negotiated a temporary ban, but events took over.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
There's more than just a few here that envision others leaving the EU.Brexit has only negative consequences? Not necessarily, says Daniel Cohn-Bendit, ex-MEP of the Greens. The EU could "shrink" as more countries follow Britain.0
