What's so scary about a Corbyn government?
I certainly won’t be voting Tory but I won’t be voting for Corbyn. I would vote for a Labour Party with more realistic aims and policies.0 -
What's so scary about a Corbyn government?
Corbyn doesn't have the capability to build a stable Government. Added to which there's a difference between imposing ones views on the electorate and representing the electorate. Neither are scary, just concerning. Will make Trump appear to be a Saint in comparison.0 -

Terrorist appeasers don't make good prime ministers.
If someone decided to blow up the Labour conference in protest at its policies, murdering a few Labour politicians in the process, what actually could Khorbiyn say? He could hardly take exception, given he is personally unable to distinguish between terrorism and the foreign policies of western governments.0 -
Absolutely. We are so entwined with the EU that I truly believe that it will take the same 45 years to be free and clear,as it did to get here.
It is a mess.Just glad that I did not vote to cause it.
Why does it matter if you're personally glad or not?
As empty remain voter soundbites go, thats a classic.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

On the contrary some of us seem able to turn a blind eye to the bullet and the bomb so long as they are used against what we perceive as 'terrorists' or the mayhem takes place in foreign lands. I find it hard to see how supplying the arms which are used to murder civilians and cause famine in the Yemen is not terrorism. However some of us have a morality that doesn't really extend beyond the self interest of their own pockets of course. It therefore suits to smear someone who threatens their status quo as a terrorist appeaser while ignoring the wrongdoings of the establishment which keeps them comfortable. Although I must admit Osborne's tax raid on buy to let did give me a frisson of satisfaction.0 -

This always cracks me up. Mays hands are far dirtier in that regard. Unless you Don't regard the Saudi funded atrocities as terrorism.
Free uni education should become self sustaining after a while; better educated citizens earn more and pay more tax. We waste a fortune administering student debt to write it off.
We've got free university up here (1st course) and we haven't collapsed under the tax burden.0
