Would you be specific about what is the infrastructure that we would be getting the benefit of. Someone (it might have been you) made this point a few days ago and although I asked this question, I didn't get an answer. I'm not trying to trip you up on this I'm genuinely curious to know what the advantages might be.

I'm not going to be too specific because I don't have all day. Every cog involved in the running of a single market needs paid for. Legislation, standards, dispute resolution, trade agreements.

Why should the EU maintain all of this stuff at huge cost and let the uk use it for free? Would you build a shed and let your neighbour run a business out of it for free?

How dare Ireland treat a 3rd country like a 3rd country.

What else are they meant to do with it?

    Oh dear.
Why does Dublin still want access to the UK internal market via Northern Ireland.

You can still want to trade with a 3rd country?

    Now your being disingenuous.
Why does Dublin want NI to remain in the customs union and free trade area and ergo keep access to the UK internal market?

A great and slightly amusing analysis from Laura Kuenssburg for the BBC of the Brexit impact reports.

It is worth a read. As the title of the piece says.
A ROW OF THEIR OWN MAKING

    Hmm. What's worse?
    1) The reports were never created in the first place.
    2) They are being covered up.

Complete nonsense. The money is taken from richer west EU countries and given to poorer east EU countries.

The costs of admin and dispute resolution is virtually zero.

It would be interesting to see what David Davis meant by "don't worry, we're doing all the proper research you'd imagine".

Taken from the "EU's Transparency in EU trade negotiations"

    http://trade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/docs/2013/june/tradoc_151381.pdf

“A certain level of confidentiality is necessary to protect EU interests and to keep chances for a satisfactory outcome high. When entering into a game, no-one starts by revealing his entire strategy to his counterpart from the outset: this is also the case for the EU.”

Only crazy remoaners would give the EU all the ammunition it needed to win a successful trade deal.

You're talking out of your hat.

I've just looked at Norway's contributions €500bn goes to EU programmes, agencies and EFTA membership.

€390 gets sent to 15 individual EU countries.

I don't think Norway has given the EU 500Bn euros in entire history.

If the UK France Germany total net contribution is around £30Bn and Poland, Czech Republic and other East Europeans receive around the same figure, then it''s obvious what the money is used for. And it's not admin.
