Why is the Govmt redacting the Brexit files. Are they avoiding scrutiny per chance......Surely not.:rotfl:0 -

Well, will we see the same outbursts from these remainers following the news today of two big pharma companies creating 1700 new jobs here in the UK do you think? I wonder why the Netherlands hasn't got these new jobs after last weeks crowing.

This is great news, is it a scoop for Huffington? I am having difficulties locating the story elsewhere. Please help. Thanks.
By the way there were no outcries of consternation from remainers about the EMA and EBA leaving Britain. What you heard were the quittlings shouting "we never voted for that"There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

We'll still have a trade deficit with the EU post brexit either way.
The financial settlement is a discussion or argument on the amount of money legally committed by Britain. Both sides believe in different figures.
In the event of Britain walking away the matter will be settled in the courts. Whatever figure is then awarded to the EU will still mean Britain paying. As it will take years to come to court it is a tempting thought for Theresa May. She could throw the country in to chaos by walking away but kick the financial settlement down the road. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
A Quitter has raised once again the rather silly notion that in the negotiations Barnier has a brief to punish Britain for leaving the EU.
There is absolutely no proof of this just like there is no proof the earth is flat.
Ordinary people from the EU27 were first surprised by the vote and now except that Britain is leaving. As the topic is rarely is mentioned in the media Brexit has dropped from people's thoughts.
However the Irish border has been getting some attention and the EU has to be seen to be backing one of its members against a future third country. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Really.
Most Remoaners like you were bleating like stuffed pigs at the loss of those quangos, most leavers thought it a natural consequence of Brexit. Good to see however that the loss of those bodies are being dwarfed by the inward investment of foreign companies.
A vote of confidence in Brexit Britain you’ll agree?“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
A great and slightly amusing analysis from Laura Kuenssburg for the BBC of the Brexit impact reports.

It is worth a read. As the title of the piece says.

If highlighting some of the negative consequences of Brexit is to be described as you say. Then you must live in a parallel universe.
How many of the millions of quittlings even knew about the EMA and EBA.There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

More of a situation where the EU is forcing the Irish to treat the UK as a ‘third country’ against its own national interests.
It’ll be interesting to see how politically tenable that situation is going forward.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
A vote of confidence in Brexit Britain
Hardly.
The exodus of tax revenue and economic activity from London to the EU is accelerating....Paris has secured a big Brexit win by convincing Chubb, one of the US’s largest insurers, to move its EU head office there.
According to analysis from AM Best, the rating agency, 16 insurers have revealed plans to create new EU head offices away from London. Luxembourg has been the most popular destination, attracting six insurers including Chubb’s US rival AIG, UK-based RSA and CNA Hardy.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

How dare Ireland treat a 3rd country like a 3rd country.
What else are they meant to do with it?0
