No other country spent money on Galileo, insisted 3rd countries shouldnt have privileged access then voluntarily became a 3rd party.
We still get to use it, but have no say. Just like we asked for.
Return our cash then and we can build our own system which will probably be cheaper, better and ready more quickly.0 -

Britain has a long and proud history of abject failure with major technology projects, delivering them badly, late and massively over budget.
In the diminished and poorer Brexit Britain we have neither the capacity nor are we able to afford building a global satellite network to duplicate the one we stuffed up our membership of...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

The EU won't pay us 39bn for a tiny station on the Falklands. We'll concede it for something else, or they'll put it in Argentina. He'll, for £39bn they can just keep a ship off the coast for the future of the project.
We chose not to be involved. We can't now complain we're not involved.0 -

The closest estimate I can find for the UK's contribution to Galileo is about 1/5 of the EUR 10bn spend.
If Brexiters have found a way to provide the UK's first functioning GPS system for £1.7 billion I will be very impressed.
Just to clarify, no you can't build real rockets out of empty Pringles tubes.0 -

Indeed...
Albeit Brexiteers have been doing this for decades - trying to blame the EU for our self inflicted problems.:rotfl:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

If there's any blame going round it's landing at the door of Brexit supporters.0

Was it actually made in Germany. My German motor was built in the USA.
Nope, else I would have said.
If it's a Beemer you have X series I guess? We don't need 2 SUV type cars, one is sufficient IMO.
Family out in Canada and Oz have also moved from European makes to Korean, but the Korean foothold in those markets is stronger. The price difference can be as much as $20,000, not small change.0 -

How exactly?
Explain to me the form this 'blame thing' takes. Is it gangs of liberals waving placards at the garden gate? Maybe it's a special kind of hat we have to wear in public?
Brexit just reveals big differences between us all, and you typify the fact that this chasm exists on both sides.
You can blame who you want, it won't have any material impact.0 -
Please remember that next time the remainers are being blamed for not being patriotic enough or sabotaging brexit.0
