Brilliant! Thanks so much for that code. Been meaning to get a new railcard for months now.0

Does anyone know if you can use the Railcard to purchase a TravelCard from your local station that would usually include tube travel in London?
thanks0 -
Thanks for this. I was thinking of getting a family railcard and taking the kids to London (we live in the North West). I've ordered mine and my told two of my friends who say they'll get them too.0

Hi- I also thought I had got the discount until it came to the payment page, where the price was displayed as £20 and I didn't risk going further. Any ideas?

If the code is still valid it wont show until the screen before they want your credit card details.
There is not risk as they cant charge you unless you priovide a card, so keep clicking on next until the price is £10.
I did think that the promotion was only for Half Term - which depending on your area finished this monday.0 -
Thanks- the price shown on the screen went down to £10 when I entered the promotion code, but went back up to £20 when I clicked on the 'Visa' payment link and went into the Visa payment screen. :huh:0

A bit of bother but got there in the end.
I was already registered on the family railcard site, but when I entered my e-mail & password, got the message your session has timed out.
So..... decided to go to the train station, with my children on tow, to buy this as National rail enquiries said I could. After sitting in traffic for what seemed like forever, but was probably only 20 mins, went to the station, only to be told by the rudest man I've ever met that I could only do it online, I asked for a number i could ring to check, he ugged at me ( cave man style ) & threw a piece of paper at me with National rail enquiries on it, rang tham again told me again *I could buy in the station but would not speak to station!!
Asked man for a customer service number threw another piece of paper at me, rang them couldn't have been nicer, but didn't even know about it, have told me to complain about man in station.
Got home determined to get the railcard, entered my husbands e-mail & re-registered, & it worked!!!
Could have saved all that stress & agro, but that would have been too easy:rotfl: why is it always me?:pComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
