It is a permitted loophole to purchase a ticket for child under 5 (if only child travelling ) to allow use of the railcard.0

Ordered mined on the 11.10.07 received new card this morning. Thanks again. :rotfl:0

Thanks, just ordered mine :T .0

Have just checked the terms and conditions and it actually says that as long as you buy a ticket for a child who is under five you can qualify for the adult discounts. So you don't have to pretend you're child is under five just buy them a child ticket. Still works out cheaper for most buggy mums like me!0

Bit of a technophobe but here goes. Thanks for this - saved £10.00 since I've got a trip to London soon (staying at Hoxton-another moneysaver tip).
Beware Codes didn't work first time for me.0 -
It will last you for one year exactly ( last day of use is the date on your ticket) and is valid on all trains, whichever company you travel with i.e. Virgin, Arriva, north west etc.
Thanks for this great find, I have told all my family so we can meet up a lot in 2008!0 -
