thanks so much for this - not only has it saved me a tenner - but it also reminded me that I needed to renew my card as it expires on friday. Keeping fingers crossed it arrives no later than monday morning - 'cos going on holiday and need it.0

DOn't forget there is a loophole with family railcards.
I am sure we have all had kids who are 'younger on buses' I know my DD used to say when people asked her age 'I am 4 on the bus' :rotfl:
But it works the other way round on the train...
...if you have an under 5 do not despair. Get a family railcard and pay for a ticket for them, it is still cheaper to travel than going without the railcard. Make sure your under five could pass for a 5 year old LOL;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

They are valid for 12 months.0
