That's a very fair point dandy-candy. I speak to them once a week, occasionally more often. Interestingly they've started to call me more often (for the weekly call, I always call them - we started to do it that way when I lived abroad and calls were expensive, and carried on when I came back to the UK).
I'll start to up the number of calls I make - I've always been reluctant to call them unexpectedly as Mum tends to assume the worst and the first part of the call is spent convincing her that there's nothing wrong and I just want a chat... Again, she's always been like that - nothing to do with getting old!!No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
