Thanks Jwil :). I definitely don't think I'd be as motivated without this forum.

    Morning,

Had some unexpected news yesterday. My Nanny's affairs have been settled and we are being given £2,500. Always feel weird getting inheritance money, as it's attached to such a sad event. We are trying to decide what to do with the bulk of the money, but we will be buying a bit of garden furniture I've had my eye on for a while and a painting (art print from a gallery). Each time I've had an inheritance I've bought a painting and each time I look at the painting I'm reminded of my loved one. DH and I considered spending the money taking the DC to Disneyland Paris, as we don't have to pay for DC3 until she turns 3 later in the year. We looked online and it's really expensive :(. It would use up all the money left and some of our money - would be about £2,700 for 4 nights/5 days (this includes a show & half board). Really not sure what to do! Would love to spend the money doing something we wouldn't have been able to do (eg. Lovely holiday), but don't want to waste it.

That's a lovely gift from your Nanny.

Is it possible to do DLP cheaper by arranging it yourselves? Go by Eurotunnel, stay just outside the park?

I'm hoping we can do DLP a lot cheaper. Although at the moment I'm having second thoughts about it! Might look into different destinations, as think we'd find it a lot cheaper. I've transferred the money to savings for the time being, so it doesn't get absorbed by day to day spending.

Yesterday £100 was paid to DHs CC and today I've rounded down my bank account and sent £19 to CC3.

Off to catch up on everyone's diaries. Have a good day :).

    Exercise completed this month - 1 / 8

Did a work out video yesterday and gosh my legs ache today! Proves how unfit I am. Going to keep track of the exercise I do by including it in each diary post. Hoping it'll guilt me in to doing exercise even when I don't want to! Minimum I want to do is 2 sessions a week, so 8 this month.

Money wise, I haven't managed a NSD yet, which is very irritating. I got close the other day, but then remembered I had to buy a card that day. Fingers crossed it'll happen soon!

Have transferred £50 to CC3 today, so the balance is now £400. DH suggested we leave this card to run, paying only the minimum and putting the extra in the EF. I've thought about it, but I just can't do it! I want to get rid of this card and I want to do it this month! Maybe next month once CC3 has gone I can alter where the money goes. It's weird really, I've had this debt for so long and yet now I can't bear to have it any more. I just want shot of it all.

Got a busy day today travelling to various groups for the DC. Hoping the pollen count isn't so high today, as my eyes have been awful the last few days. It's been driving me crazy having itchy red eyes.

Yesterday was a NSD and today has been too :j. Managed to avoid the coffee shop whilst out today - persuaded the DC to have an ice lolly at home instead of insisting on cake whilst out.

The minimum Payment for one of DHs CCs has come out (£76.63). Need to look in to swapping the figure to a set amount rather than an ever reducing amount. Mainly as the pence really irritate me!

Have been looking in to center Parcs in Holland as a holiday destination rather than DLP, as would be loads cheaper. A friend went to Majorca recently at an all inclusive villa, which looked really nice, but not sure how relaxing it would actually be looking after 3 kids around a pool all day. Also I'm not much of a sunbathing kind of person (I get bored very quickly!). If any one has any suggestions let me know :). I really want to travel, but I do have to deal with my internal fears a lot about going with the Dc! Still not sure what we'll do, but luckily we're in no rush.

I can't help as haven't been abroad with the kids. Can you look for a family resort for the first time, one with kids activities so you don't have to be hovering around them at the pool the whole time?

I'm not a sunbathing person either so we'd more likely go to somewhere where we can get out and about and go sightseeing.

Before we had kids, we went on a cheap holiday to Fuengirola in Spain. It was a self catering apartment, and there was a lot to do in the area. We also went to Gibraltar for the day and over to Africa for the day.
