I don't have any issues with any DD's i've set up ? No issues with moving money in or out using the app either ? Not needed any secure key gadget, just waiting for the switching bonus now, i'll keep the account once i've got it, it's always useful to have more than one.

I'd be interested to know if all the DDs that disappeared were Tesco ones. (Mine was)
The DDs are set up externally so it isn't the fault of YB surely- it's the fault of the organisation requesting the payment.....
The charity DD has paid out twice with no probs

Yes, they were Tesco DD's. (One on my account and one on my wife's account).

The ones that disappeared have already paid out once. They are still correctly showing as DD's on Tesco's banking site, but have disappeared without trace from Yorkshire Banking.

Never had any trouble with Tesco DDs ever. Now one each on our Yorkshire accounts disappear at much the same time? Too coincidental for it to be anything other than the fault of Yorkshire Bank surely?

Why? because as I said before DDs (unlike SOs) are set up externally.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with it being carried over as a switch. I also notice on the Tesco website that you can set up a DD as a 'one-off' payment, or ongoing....
The DD still appears on Yorks Bank but wasn't taken this month. Have set up another to cover all eventualities!! Don't want to miss out on the cash share out...........

Might have saved it for switch deal but I've run out of places to switch!
    All that's left is Co-op
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

The Tesco DD's that switched never worked, so I had to cancel them and set up fresh ones. It was one of the ones that I set up myself that has disappeared a few weeks after first payment.

Bizarrely, the four cancelled direct debits still show on YB online, but the one that disappeared should still be live.

As I said, a truly shocking service.
  • the 2 dd's that switched worked for me ,it was one of the 2 new ones that I set up after the switch that got rejected,it paid out the first month but not the second.I rang both banks at the time and got a sort of apology from tesco and an assurance that it was still live.
    mortgage free 3/10/12:)
  • just checked B bank and they didn't take it this month either,so much for the assurance it was still live!It doesn't matter for me any more and it shouldn"t affect your bonus payout, good luck guys(boy still not had his)

I also phoned them today and was advised should be paid by 13 January. Also my switch was completed on the 6 November 2017.
