I don't think that you will qualify as you are an existing customer; so you won't get a bonus.0 -
I meant leave them as in closing the account.0

Thank you to the person who initially spotted this.
I am keeping my fingers crossed - I got in before it was pulled, applied for the account and initiated the switch and have all the confirmation emails BUT the account I used for the switch was a fairly dormant one that I've not really used for some years (I've set up the necessary DDs on the new B account). Provided they recognise that as a 'switchable' account (it is still open, just not used much) I am hopefully in line for the £2500 -
I applied on 25th and they say more time is needed to look at my application.
Anyone impatient?
So today I hear they've closed this offer now.
If my account isn't open by today, will I get the £250 switch?
The screen however when I go to apply is now asking for an authorisation code (so something has changed). Yet to receive this though.0 -
I have just spoken to them and as I applied to open the account last week, the 26th I think it was, my account was opened yesterday and I initiated the switch today. They have said that they will honour the £250 switch.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.
DFD - 17/04/2016
Gambling: The sure way of getting nothing from something.

Applied for B Account on 26th. Nearly a week later still getting this:
Presumably they are just working their way through hundreds of applications? I still don't even know if they will honour the £250 switch offer, but I sure hope so as I applied before the offer was pulled.
I applied for a 'B'. The application didn't go through, and I got fed up trying. So I applied for a Current Plus instead, and it went through no problems. Weird.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

Rang up, they said the letter was posted yesterday (probably why the website changed when resuming application).
Adviser said I was still entitled to switch amount as long as I do this before 17th (and assuming it's because I applied (25th) to open an account before the close yesterday).
Fingers crossed process goes smoothly.0 -
I was told multiple times on the phone that as my account was opened before the cut off then the bonus was still applicable.
Since the initial stress of opening the account and trying to get through on the phone to initiate the switch it seems to have got better. 2 new cards arrived yesterday (Joint Account) and had notice from Natwest that the account is being closed so it all seems to be going smoothly now.0 -

not necessarily true as this one was available to new and existing customers, as was stated in the offer terms: "This offer is available to new and existing clydesdale, yorkshire bank and B (referred together as CYB)"MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
My account still isn't open - they said they needed 2 days to look over the account before making a decision, and they have now changed that to 5 days.
When I initially spoke on live chat a little while ago, they said they would honour the switching fee as it is before the cut off date0
